My son has been coming here about a year for food therapy. We’ve primarily been with Travis, but have also seen Savannah and Rosie (at the Riverside location before we were able to get a spot at the Corona location). Staff are always friendly and both facilities are reasonably clean (despite riverside being considerably older. Yes, it looks older, but they keep it up well. Corona is much newer). Therapists were all very nice, receptive to my concerns, thoughtfully answer my questions, and really want my son to succeed. Travis has been amazing for my son. He’s definitely brings a “cool guy” attitude, that my child responds well to. It’s a mutual respect and my son really wants to make Travis proud thanks to the relationship they’ve built. I really appreciate that. But seriously, some of these bad reviews are a joke. If you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for some kind of OT for your kid. Great. OT only works if YOU as a parent put in the work at home. Your therapist is there to provide tools. Abide by the rules of the office (about absences, illness, etc). No you can’t bring siblings because you’re supposed to be focused on the child in need of services. No you can’t miss several appointments in a row because that’s not how therapy works. No you can’t leave to go shopping because this isn’t child care, it’s therapy. Duh. Be a parent, be present for appointments, learn what the therapist has to teach you and practice at home. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. But seriously, Travis is great! My son went from about 10 all beige foods, and throwing up when asked to try new things, to now having far less fear and anxiety about new foods, feeling more adventurous and confident, and bonus - he eats salmon and carrots now so it’s a win.

We have had a great experience at SensAbilities in Corona. We highly recommend this clinic for their professionalism, care for minors, and very well trained staff. My daughter received speech therapy w/ Ms. Renee (1yr) and occupational therapy with Mr Travis (4yrs). She always looked forward to her sessions. Through the years the center was truly wonderful and accommodating with her needs. Our sessions were held in clinic and virtually. She was dependant on us for everything minor task. Working with Mr. Travis' she progressed significantly with day-to-day self-care. Your kindness, hardwork and efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙂

Came here with a referral from Kaiser and have to say the staff here is amazing. My son was 3 yrs old and was unintelligible and had very few words. Since coming here he has really bloomed and has started talking so much and much more clearly as well. He is always excited to see his therapist and she is super kind, patient and works really well around my son's moods. The office staff is great as well, any time I have a scheduling conflict they work with me to reschedule my son's sessions. Overall great place and super nice people.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I don't know why Kaiser directly refers Senseabilities to patients when there are clearly other waaaay better choices out there. A lot of the Kaiser patients actually requested to transfer somewhere else. Save yourself the trouble and don't even try this place. Read the google and the yelp reviews. I read the reviews, but still gave this place a chance- biggest mistake I ever made. I should have just learned from the reviews and went somewhere else. Emily or Lily (whatever her name is) from the front desk is super unprofessional. When I tried to talk to her about as to why they just took us off the schedule , all she would say is, "Well, It has been decided, there's nothing that can be done." And then she would cut me off when I'm speaking. She didn't even try listening to me or try answering my questions. Also, she said she gave us verbal and written warnings. Never received any of those. I could go and on about how ridiculous she is but that would be a further waste of my time. It's not just her, though. It's the whole place. Communication is bad. They have no compassion for their patients (a trait that this business should have especially with the demography of their patients). All they care about is making money. It's sad cause the speech therapist my son had was good. Another incident we experienced was when we were very near the place then Emily (of all people) called us to tell us they would not accept our son that day anymore since he will ne 15 minutes late. Tried explaining to her that my son had a very bad day but we really are trying to het him to speech despite that. All she could say is, " we can't take him today anymore. It's an insurance thing" Just like that, no compassion whatsoever. Like i said, all they care about is money. They need to hire better front desk staff or atleast give them proper training. Like seriously, never been to a place this bad. Once again, JUST READ THE YELP REVIEWS AND BELIEVE THEM. This place is just 3 stars for a reason.

I went here with a referral from Kaiser for my 3 year old who screamed in pain from brushing teeth, bathing, light touch, was a sensory seeker, and had other sensory related difficulties. I was desperate for help when we went to our intake appointment. The therapist that met with us spent less than 30 minutes with me but charged me hundreds of dollars, told me my son had behavioral issues and didn’t need occupational therapy, and said she wasn’t seeing much sensory related issues. When I went back to Kaiser and saw an OT they immediately said my son had sensory processing disorder that was impacting his life severely and approved OT, and gave us some immediate interventions to start doing daily. Within 24 hours my son had drastically improved from us applying the skills they taught us. I felt extremely taken advantage of, misled, and insulted by this place and not only would I never ever return, but I also feel they should be reported to licensing. The OT my son was evaluated by here also said his sensitivity to touch wasn’t a sensory issue but sounded like a neurological condition, and when I looked up the neurological condition she said my son had I found it is only caused by opiate addiction.

Senseabilities has helped my daughter so much, within 6 months she has come so far. Office staff is extremely professional, kind & helpful. We are so grateful our SLPs Mary and Brianne. We wouldn’t have made this much improvement without their incredible work. Mary treats my child like her own and makes therapy a fun experience. Brianne goes out of her to make sure as a parent I understand her goals, she connects with my daughter so well. This journey we’ve been on with our therapist has been so incredible & life changing! Thank you Senseabilities for all the hard work! I’ve recommended this location to many other friends and families!

ABSOLUTLEY nuts I waited 6 months for a referral to this place… it’s 45 minutes from my house…: they have a no sibling policy so I had to hire a sitter for 4 hours ($80 ) to watch my other two kids. We hit a car accident on the way and became late… i immediately called to notify them I was running late but had already been driving for 30 mins..: they said they’d see me as long as I was there by 2:15… I explained that it was saying I would be there at 2:18 and I arrived at 2:18 and they refused to see my daughter… just nuts!! I understand policy but for us to have driven over an hour to get here and miss it by 3 minutes??? Come on!!! This is about money. They were concerned if they didn’t finish the exam they couldn’t bill kaiser… I said let’s just try and see how far we get… the refused to even let us come inside! I’ve never experience such a thing in my life. I will surely look for somewhere else ti take my children for services. Unreal.
