As a special needs parent, any assistance we can get to help to navigate this journey is more than welcomed. Sensational Spaces wasn't your average support system. When we hired them, we were expecting them to come out and look at our designated space and give us some minor feedback on how we can help make a more sensory friendly space specifically for our son's needs. When the team came in, not only did they meet our expectations, they exceeded them beyond our wildest imagination! They came in and quickly took some measurements, spent some time with our son and myself and gave us a packet full of ideas. We went into this expecting to change a wall or two and now we are able to set up multiple areas of sensory input in our house! I highly recommend Sensational Spaces for any neurodivergent household. They are absolutely amazing!

Marlee and Alexi and the rest of the people they have had come through to help bring this experience to fruition have all been incredibly thoughtful and caring and kind. They considered all of the unique needs of our son and created a space for him that meets his needs and allows him sensory input and stimulation in an appropriate environment while incorporating safety. 1000% recommend working with SENSE-ational Spaces!!! Truly a life changing experience!!!!

So thankful for this company. A room was designed specifically for our daughter and what her needs are. Our daughter is very excited about her sensory room. Loved how these ladies came to our home and got to know our daughter and designed her space with all her ideas and any changes she wanted they were more than welcome to change up ideas. Thank you so much, so thankful for all you did for our family.

I recommend these guys to every single parent out there. My kids love their sensory space so much that I can't get them to leave it! They've been playing and getting their wiggles out non-stop. They haven't even mentioned TV since they got the new space. I will be hiring these guys to deck out as much of my house as possible. Seriously, this makes parenting so much easier and so much more fun. It is worth every penny. Plus, they did the entire install and created the plan, no hassle or worry from my end. I'll add the before and after pictures in a bit. :-)

I am very cautious about opportunities for students, especially opportunities in emerging practice areas, like what Alexi and Marlee do. Their knowledge of population and community based practice is far more than what students get in the classroom, and I am eternally grateful that they both saw my vision about what students could learn being with them both. They are professional, collaborative, and want to learn and grow as well. They see students as partners and collaborators and allow them the freedom to design their own learning opportunities. They are quick to respond to feedback and to continue to make SENSE-ational Spaces a great asset to our community and a safe space for learning for students. I am eternally grateful for this learning partnership with Alexi and Marlee, and can't wait to see how they continue to grow as a business in our area and beyond!

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Words cannot express how great of a company this is! From the very beginning of the process, it was a really, really great experience. I would highly recommend this company to ANYONE with a kiddo with special needs and with sensory issues. We all know that our kiddos have a lot of stuff and it's usually placed in one area of our home. They come in and create these ultra amazing spaces that are comfortable and so, so enjoyable for the child as well as family and friends. This is my personal experience: A few months ago, I contacted Sense-ational Spaces because we had issues with another company. The form is very easy to fill out and the website is organized nicely so you know exactly what package would best fit your needs. In the end, my husband and I went with Package 2. After I filled out the form, we received a follow-up email within a few hours. Very responsive and really, really great communications from the beginning!!!! Both ladies were very professional when they came out to our home to access my son and look at the space. They even came prepared with a tape measure, note pad, phone and many questions that would help them figure out what the needs are and how to apply the needs into the room. When I received the 3D plan, I was OBSESSED!!! I mean, I sent this plan to EVERYONE I knew and looked at it 20 times a day! Still writing a review about it, I still OBSESSED with it!!! We were given a list of all items to purchase for the room as well as a very good description of the purpose of the room and everything that goes in it. (You might need this in case Waiver money from the County is used; it could be needed for submission/approval.) Our room is currently in process now but they will be the first ones to come over and see their vision turned into reality... Like I mentioned earlier in the review, I would give them 100+ stars if I had the option. They are so pleasurable to work with, extremely professional & knowledgeable in their fields (both therapists), fantastic communicators and highly creative when it comes to the space. I will tell anyone I know with a special needs kiddo to call them! It will be the best decision you will make!

You cannot make me revome my review for sensatioanal spaces. You are the company I contacted a long time ago and had many back and forths with over email and phone. When my family decided not to work with you, you contacted my child's social worker to try and milk money from them. If you would respond to the emails the first time I would not leave a bad review. They are the worst company I have ever worked with. Their 'customer service's is an embarrassment, they are very unprofessional. I was working with them and when I told them I needed time to think about what the estimate was they harassed me for money when NO work was done or agreed upon. My review was not made in error I am writing this review as a potential customer. I have been in contact with you and emailed back with no replies. All of a sudden you want to harass my social worker for money when I did not pay you. Funny how you now want me to remove a review for your staffs incompetence. It's extremely inappropriate to ask for money from my social worker when again no work was ever done or agreed upon.

Alexi and Marlee’s OT background and their passion for helping children thrive is shown in their work. From start to finish, they were amazing to work with and my child’s needs were top priority. They listened to our families needs and worked within our budget to create a space my child now loves! Thank you Sense-ational Spaces! ~Tedra I am so thankful for Sense-ational Spaces! We have chosen to keep our daughter home from school this year due to Covid-19. By doing so, she does not receive the therapies she so desperately needs. By hiring Alexi and Marlee, we were able to create a sensory friendly space, specifically tailored to our daughters needs. We can now work on OT and PT at home, while remaining healthy.
