I was very appreciative to all the workers. They were very nice and caring. There was one nurse that held my mom’s hand and prayed while she passed early. Love y’all!!

During the hardest two weeks of our lives, Self Nursing Home was truly an answer to prayer. The staff that took care of my mother was the best that we could have asked for. Not only did they care for our mom, they took time out to really minister to us as a family. I will always recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Self Nursing Home for all that you do. May God continue to bless your facility and those that work with you.

A family atmosphere for employees, patients and their families. The activities Dept keep the clients involved in crafts for others, card making, praise and worship with visiting youth groups, choirs, quartets, children’s ministries and senior programs. The Rehab first and now the NH have been very good to my loved one.

I recently gave a review when I was upset about some issues and took my anger home with me without talking to the higher-ups. In all fairness I should have taken proper channels and discuss my feelings. After doing so they were more than happy to try and fix the problem. There is no perfect nursing home to fit everyone's request. I do realize they have a difficult job trying to make every family member happy. We all love our love ones in the nursing home and think they are the most important person there just like me. I'm more then happy that my mother is at self nursing. I will learn to go through the proper channels next time if I have a concern. Looking forward to working with Self Nursing .

I have been to nursing homes across Alabama and California. While I maintain no facility would provide the care I dream of for a loved on, this is truly the best place I’ve visited.

Nurse Trudy Morgan is truly a bitter, mean person. She must be having a bad day or something because she treated me like garbage the moment I set foot in there til the moment I left. If this is how she treats patients she should be fired

I highly recommend Self Health Care and Rehab Center! My father spent a little over a year living there. The staff loved and cared on him so well. I felt they truly cared what impact (mental & physical) the COVID pandemic was having on the lifestyles of the residents, as well as the concerned families not able to visit with their loved ones. They would have activities to help keep the residents in good spirits throughout the pandemic. They truly care about their residents.
