Select Physical Therapy

This is a great practice. Highly recommend. Everyone is professional and courteous, and they really care about patients. I've especially enjoyed working with Dr. Mercedes Marchbanks. In addition to be being great at PT, and a genuinely good person, she takes a collaborative approach to therapy. We sometimes develop strategies together, and she graciously lets me filter my own treatment ideas through her expertise. I hope to continue treatment here as long as possible.

I've had a great experience at Select Physical Therapy so far. Mercedes is a great PT - kind and knowledgeable. The office is very well equipped and spacious. They also take my insurance, which is a huge help. Overall, a very good experience.

Mercedes, Alex, Mel, Mahlika, Steven, and the rest of the team are all wonderful. They're incredibly knowledgeable and so easy and pleasant to work with. I learn so much from them and feel confident I can continue to improve and manage my recovery thanks to their expertise.

Maya is very knowledgeable. I ask a lot of questions during our sessions and she explains how each exercise help my shoulder recovery. She’s very kind and easy to talk to about my recovery concerns. Austin and Alex are also great. Sarah at the front desk is also great. Overall, the staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Plus the music they play is on point!!!

Alex and Maya have been my primary therapists, prior to my having hip replacement surgery, and they're both highly skilled and professional. The therapists really focus on you, which has not always been my experience at other therapy facilities. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating when scheduling issues arise. They are very diligent in cleaning equipment after use and clearly take the work of keeping the facility COVID-free seriously. I highly recommend this facility and their therapists.

From he very beginning, The office was very responsive and professional. I look forward to my therapy sessions, each day I go, because I get exactly the things I need to rehab and leave with a great feeling of well being. Maya is completely thorough and professional as well as fun to work with. My observation of the the other therapists also defines professionalism and connectivity with the needs of their patients. Wonderful treatment of a long time issue. I feel like there is progress where another Alta Bates affiliated pt center failed repeatedly. It may take a while to get your first appointment but well worth the wait.

My experience with Select PT has been positive and especially so with Mercedes and Austin. They have been patient and considerate of my needs as we work towards achieving my personal goals of being pain free and possibly returning to work. It is a pleasant experience to be greeted by your name each and every appointment. They never forget that cryotherapy is not my favorite treatment, but I have come to tolerate it with my Therapist encouragement, so as to achieve progress. My therapist brought me to tears because she understood the horrible back and knee pain I have been experiencing and she designed a treatment for me that has gradually given me hope. This is to say thank you to the Select PhysicalTherapy team for my appointment reminders, health safety care and all that you do to let us feel welcome and that you care.
