Select Physical Therapy - Newport Beach

Came here for a POET about 2 weeks ago and here's my experience. First let's talk about the strength test lmfao. Started off simple then became ridiculous very fast. Started off with a 50 pound box and a 3 level shelf. Your required to pick the box up by the sides and place it on the 1st shelf, then pull it out and place it back. Repeat the process again but now the box goes on the 2nd shelf. You do this 2 times. Next was 35 pounds, 20 pounds, 10lbs and then empty box which you must place on all 3 levels a total of 3 times I believe it was. After completing all those steps that becomes 1 total unit. Your must do 3 units with rest breaks included. I've worked in a warehouse for years and Never had to do any shit like that..EVER 😂. Then the Anderson Cooper looking guy was unprofessional and kept whispering negative shit about how I was performing that ridiculous ass test. now let's get to the meat and potatoes or the situation. When I completed my test You guys were required to send my Test to my employer. They never received it and my job has been delayed due to your negligence! I called the office and was told by the lady in front with the beautiful eyes that you guys don't provide paperwork or receipts to customers...that's weird but it's not my business literally. Something needs to be done about this for sure! How can we get this resolved without me having to come back to retake my test

A terrible encounter. Extremely impolite and irritable. Lied on my employment post-offer test and failed to give me a copy of my paperwork as requested. An individual should have visited and given medicine if they have high blood pressure! Rather, the woman told lies in order for the business to get compensated for my visit! The crazy thing is 50 pounds was the highest expectation but she went over board to be nasty!

Mark is such a skilled and knowledgeable physical therapist. He was able to figure out what was going wrong with my back when no other doctor could. After a few exercises, my lower back pain disappeared. I would definitely recommend Mark at Select Physical Therapy! The physical therapy location is very convenient and clean. I’ve seen a lot of improvement after seeing Mark for my 2nd case - arthritis in my upper back & neck this time that I developed from leading a sedentary lifestyle. I’ve been an athlete all my life (doing gymnastics, surfing, and yoga) but couldn’t figure out what to do about my back. He worked his magic and helped me to improve my posture and get stronger, and now I’m able to do the activities that I love. I’m able to breathe better and sleep better as well. I’ve seen different PT over the years but Mark is the best one. The office is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet plaza in Newport beach- I’d highly recommend him.

Mark really helped me a lot with strengthening my hip area during my six sessions with him. He is an expert observer and was highly experienced and professional in understanding my issue and how to resolve it. In my case I have already gained strength and flexibility, and he empowered me with exercises I can do at home to continue to improve functioning in the problem area. He also manages the Newport Beach location and does a great job balancing the outstanding delivery of hands on physical therapy and keeping everything productively humming at the site. I highly recommend him!

Vanessa and her team offer excellent Physical Therapy services to our community. She and her staff are professional, friendly, compassionate, and patient. I had a bad fall and within weeks of therapy, I've improved greatly. My experience has been exceptional. Thank you.

Christine Russo is an awesome physical therapist because she is patient and pleasant with her patients. When I came I was in severe daily pain and after a week and a half of therapy I’m barely feeling any pain, plus my sleeping has improved tremendously.

Select PT does exceptional work. The therapists do a great job. I am an athlete and Vanessa, my PT, is doing everything to make sure I am ready to go back to my sport. The office staff are always happy and it is easy to switch up your appointment when necessary.
