Select Physical Therapy - La Mesa

I would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy in La Mesa. Linda, the Patient Service Specialist, was always at the front so friendly and greets me with a smile! I was having issues getting my sessions approved and she was able to go the extra mile to get my sessions approved thru my insurance. The Physical Therapist team, at this location consists of three people, Jordan, Mallory and Rachel. I was paired up with the amazing Rachel, but honestly all three of them are amazing. Rachel made sure to get good measurements on my first appointment and showed me some exercises to do at home. Throughout my sessions, she was able to work on my flexibility and pain level to get back to my normal routine as much as possible. Rachel is friendly and welcoming. My doctor was so impressed with my recovery and he acknowledged that it had a lot to do with the care and treatment being done with my PT. Rachel cares about her patients and their recovery. Rachel made sure to always follow up on my recovery at the beginning of our sessions by asking, "what is bothering you? And what has improved?" Then we would work on those problem areas. By the end of my sessions, it was impressive to see my improvements thanks for Rachel! The location has private rooms to do measurements and a large room in the back to work on exercises. The location was always clean and they are constantly wiping down equipment after someone uses it. I would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy to my friends. 10/10 would do it again!

I have never gone into a business in my life and got upset but these guys pushed me to the point of tears. I have been in extreme pain from a torn tendon on my shoulder and needed the help. First my physician told me I’ll get a call from select therapy to schedule an appointment, but I never got a call from them. I tried calling their office number several times left voice messages and no one picks up or calls back. At some point, I remember living a voice message, literally begging to get a call back! On the day of my appointment my GPS dropped me off a mile away from their office. I knew I was in trouble because I was never gonna be able to get through to these guys for them to give me directions. I spent over 30 minutes driving around, trying to find their location, which apparently was changed recently which might be why my gps dropped me off somewhere else. Finally arrived at the office at 10:15 My appointment was for 10. Their was a lady at the front desk and when I walked in, she did not acknowledge me in anyway she basically looked at me and looked away, which got me fuming even more because I’ve already called them several times and the fact that someone was sitting at the front decks, just chatting with her lead or whoever it was, was just unacceptable to me. Basically, they couldn’t help me because I was five minutes above their timeline. Even if you can’t help me at least show some compassion but she didn’t care! So I had to call my doctor to find me another physical therapist because I didn’t think I would have to run around chasing just to get an appointment and have to beg my way for them to see me when they have absolutely zero customer service and zero communication skills. And the funny thing was the place was empty. There was hardly anyone there. so I don’t know why no one picks the call and no one calls back. Anyways if you want to be treated like a human and you want a physical therapy place that actually cares about you find somewhere else.

Jordan deserves five stars every day all day. He is absolutely wonderful to work with extremely caring and concerned. Great personality easy-going keep up the good work if I could give them 10 stars, I would.

When I first saw my PT Joseph I had constant numbness and pain in both my hands and trigger thumb on my right hand. I could barely sew, knit or crochet for 5 minutes without discomfort! Now I can do all of the above without pain for at least 45 minutes to an hour! My quality of life has hugely improved! I am sooo grateful and joyful to be able to do the things that I love! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to my improved lifestyle!

I give Select physical therapy and my therapist Rachel Labasan 5 stars because of her total commitment to improve your health. She is receptive to all of your needs and encourages you to work at your own pace so that you feel good about putting in the effort to get results.

This facility is phenomenal! Never a wait time, the staff is super talented and friendly. The Manager Jordan, who was my therapist is bright, alert and attentive to everything my shoulder needed. I am grateful to have ended up here and Select PT La Mesa is highly recommended!
