Select Physical Therapy - Eagle River

My first experience at Select PT was with Danielle. I was pleasantly surprised by her professionalism and thoroughness in evaluating my situation. Bravo to Danielle and Select PT for doing such a great job!

Yesterday I had a follow up evaluation with Brandon Shink PT at Select Physical Therapy in Eagle River Alaska. This was in reference to a 30 year old back injury that recently flared up and was manifesting extreme pain down my right leg and into my foot and toes. While Brandon’s easy demeanor and casual talk was pleasant and engaging, I didn’t realize until later just how much attention he was paying to my issues. In the first 30 minutes he had set out a series of exercises that directly targeted my problem areas. He also explained in detail what the causes of my pain were and why the exercise would help. I entered the clinic hunched over and in nagging pain but left standing upright!

I had shoulder surgery and was recommended to go here for therapy. I have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and personable. The sessions have been very helpful to getting me back to 100%.

The Physical Therapists at Select Physical Therapy are nothing short of experts. They were patient and thorough with me while I was healing. I appreciate everything they’ve taught me so I may avoid injuries forward. Highly recommend!!!

I have been working with Kathleen for PT since having lower back surgery. My Doctor felt it was important for it be the next phase of my recovery to regain strength and mobility. Kathleen has been wonderful and challenging me to what I can and if able a couple more. She very mindful to redirect if any pain is felt, which very much appreciated. She is also very supportive of all my efforts and encourages me every step of the way. I truly love working with her and feel I would not have made the progress I have without her help and guidance. She is a delight and very personable.

I enjoy the friendly customer service they have when patients enter their office. Most of all, I appreciate my physical therapist Hannah for being so awesome when she works with me. She does a great job and really shows how much she cares about helping her clients feel better.

I had a total hip replacement, and chose Select because it was close to home in Eagle River. From my initial experience with Kali checking me in to my introduction to my PTherapist, Dylan, I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Dylan started me on some exercises to improve my flexibility and strength. He also gave me 2 pages of exercises with photos to do at home. When I had finished with Dylan, I stopped by Kali again and she gave me my requested times and dates for return. I get email and message phone reminders of my appointments. Post operative or injury pain is never fun, and a full recovery of function and decrease in pain requires work. My PT really inspires and challenges me to push my imagined limits. I really appreciate it. The equipment here is clean and in good condition. I highly recommend this facility and their great staff.

Ally is amazing! Actually the whole staff is but I have worked with Ally the most. She listens to what issues I am having and helps to develop a therapy session that targets my issues. I think being able to have that open communication with her makes my sessions all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy to anyone needing treatment.
