Great service and staff sanitizes the benches and workout equipment. My PT made each visit a challenging and productive session. They listen to your personal input. Also they ask questions about the pain you feel while you are being treated. I am so fortunate I got referred to this office. I would definitely suggest my friends sign up with them for their physical therapy program.

The Therapists, Allyson and William, have been great in working with me. They have worked slowly, but progressively and while challenging me, they have not caused me any hurt or major discomfort. They are encouraging and responsive to feedback and consult with you on your needs and progress, rather than dictating to you. Nor do they imply any blame regarding your condition. They just encourage you to keep moving forward. This branch is located in downtown San Rafael and has free parking - another added benefit.

I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy. I recently underwent Total Knee Replacement surgery and chose this place as my out patient PT. I have been working with Alex and he has been instrumental in identifying the where and the how of our PT focus. When I experienced a setback at home, he helped me regain my confidence to continue my exercises. The facility is fully equipped with all the tools, devices and machines you need to push yourself. Rachel at the front desk is very nice and knowledgeable. So far, my time at Select Physical Therapy has been fantastic. Highly recommend them.

Is it weird that I don’t want to stop going to physical therapy? Despite my initial reaction that it seemed so busy and everything took place all in one open room, I have LOVED my experience here. The staff is super nice and caring. They are chatty and kind and make the whole process super fun. They seem to like each other too, and joke around and chit chat with each other and with patients (clients?) when it’s quieter. I worked mostly with Allyson, who is totally lovely and supportive and fun (and pushes you just a little bit - in a good way), and once with Gerald, who was also fantastic. I can’t say enough great things!

I have been working with Aanchal at Select since May , 2021 for a shoulder repair. She is amazing. She has given me appropriate exercises for my healing and strengthening, constantly changing them as I improve. She is attentive, listens to me and respects my needs. She has massaged my scar for better healing and soothes the tightness that occurs during the healing process. I highly recommend her and thank her for all she has been doing for me

Came to Select Physical Therapy to recover from a torn L5/S1 disk with inflamed mid and upper thoracic spine muscles. My initial impression of Select was okay. My initial therapists, Tyler and Alex were solid, but the scheduling was full, often switching me between therapists or booking me into double-patient appointments. After a few weeks, I was transferred to a new therapist, Aanchal, and she was amazing! She re-designed my treatment, adjusted my exercises and I immediately began seeing improvement. I have been out of treatment for several months now thanks to Aanchal and the Select PT team. Thanks!

I had a total anterior hip surgery back in February 2018. I performed PT at another place prior to switching to Select PT in San Rafael. I really wasn’t getting the results or attention that I felt I deserved at the previous PT location. PT is expensive even if you have good insurance! I decided to switch to Select PT in San Rafael after about 6 months an I couldn’t be happier. Alex has been incredible since day 1. He is young, ambitious, and very attention to detail. The deep tissue work he performs can be a challenge, but it is extremely productive. My strength and pain level have both improved drastically. He is also working on a shoulder issue that’s I have and we are having success with that too! Five stars for Selct PT, 10 stars for Alex!

I feel very cared about during my PT sessions & in spite of the fact that I’ve been in constant pain post surgically, I look forward to my sessions with Allison because of her caring, compassion & knowledge as to what I am needing to progress in my process of recovery! It’s been a most healing environment to be in & all staff seem to work well together. Thanks to all of you for a job well done!
