Some of the nurses and staff are very nice but that is about it. They left my mom in a chair for almost 2 hours before they even came in to check on her. She can't walk so she couldn't reach over for the call button or get back into bed. Took them another almost 2 hours another night to even come give her her pain meds after telling 3 people. Most of the staff should not be working in this kind of place if they aren't going to give the attention and care these people need. These people are NURSES, you take care of people for a living. LEARN how to be a nurse! Pay attention to how you are treating patients. Forgetting to give medications or not wearing gloves or using alcohol swabs to clean before shots is no acceptable. It is very irritating when my mom is alone that this happens. We've been trying to keep family members at all times with her since this keeps happening when we aren't around. Very disappointed.

Very dirty and not well kept. You will hear a bunch of different things from different workers. No one is on the same page, and they only have one person working at nights. For all those patients.

My mom is being rehabibilitated here and in my visit I only saw happy patients who really seem happy with thier experience here. We had a meeting to talk about the options my mom has moving forward & the attention & care of the 4 workers (between physical therapist, a social worker and nurses) really put my mind at ease. The food looked (& smelled) a little iffy, but that can be taken with a grain of salt.

The staff and patients at the facility seem to have a great deal of Hope in the new administrator who is actually taking action on the problems that need to be addressed. His warm caring demeanor seems to be a delightful expression of hope that the entire facility needed! And his dogged determination will ultimately prove upper management made the right choice when they sent Jason Collier to solve the problem it's a five-star facility that mr. Collier will bring up to the elevated status of five star he knows what it takes and he's getting it done

When we visited this facility in Eureka, we knew that there were many residents with severe mental and physical conditions. In most situations the seniors are depressed because of their cognitive challenges. They are lethargic because they feel that they are irrelevant and miss their responsibilities they had most of their lives. We noticed that the seniors here were extremely happy and we were told that Seaview had a special program "A Heart to Serve". The residents join in the preparation of feeding the homeless. It gives them something positive to look forward to and it boosts their self-esteem, because they are "giving" once again. What a beautiful service that is. Very impressive.

Poor elderly there are very few people that care. They didnt care about me i worked in the back kitchen, which is a trailer had many osha regulations not kept, further more i am still scarred from chemicals kept to clean floors dishes, which burned me... made us work so hard and expected way to much, for a understaffed underpaid place like this, they could care less that i recieved chem burns, never asked how i was, i can just imagine what goes on that youdont get to see. And they still owe me money, and have not tried to contact me and find out where my new address is. horrible dont send your loved ones there please!!

Terrific staff here, very conscientious. The food is really good. Pleasant company, activities, and events. Rehabilitation staff really go all out. I was and still am very thankful.
