SCL Health Medical Group - Denver Sports Medicine

I had a great experience here from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and quick, all the staff were very professional and helpful, and Dr. Jacobson was wonderful. Previous to coming here, I’d gone to a Dr. from a different practice who told me my issue was mild and would go away on it’s own.. that unfortunately was not the case and there turned out to be real issues. I’m thankful that my pain was taken seriously here and I was able to get a diagnosis and be directed towards further care for treatment. Thank you to all the great people at this office!

I had a great experience at this location! Very easy to schedule and confirm appointment. Didn't have to wait weeks or months to be seen. Clean and safe location. Dr. Jacobson was wonderful, easy to talk to and professional. Highly recommend this location for your health needs.

Dr. Jacobson was extremely thorough in her exam and was very knowledgeable in everything that was wrong with my ankle. I moved here leaving a great sports med doctor back home and was sad to leave since I doubted I’d find someone as great as him anywhere else, but Dr. Jacobson proved me wrong, which is a good thing! Not only was she incredibly helpful and took her time with me, she was also very nice and it was clear she values her patients. I’m glad to have found her and the St. Joseph Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy practice in Denver!

I never thought I would write a review for a hospital, but this place deserves it. From the emergency room to ICU to multiple nights stay in a room, this facility made me comfortable in a situation that I am not used to. The room was comfy and the food was surprisingly good for a place this big. The nursing staff were amazing. I was in a confusing situation and the nurses not only performed their jobs but comforted me and found out what they could as fast as they could. I was well taken care of on all levels. I would feel good if I knew I had someone in this hospital. Thanks SCL.

Dr. Jacobson and the entire staff at Denver Sports Medicine - SCL Physicians were absolutely fantastic! They all take their professions seriously, but are able to treat patients like human beings. Never once did I feel like I was just another person in a line of customers waiting to be 'dealt' with. I hope that I don't fracture another bone, but if I do, she will definitely be the only doctor I call to fix it!

I unfortunately didn’t get an appointment with the doctor specifically (I am sure they are fantastic!) I wanted to give a shout out to Miggy who is possibly the most helpful person in the health care system I have encountered this far. He helped me figure out another doctor to see and explained to me how specialist and referrals work. May sound silly but his patience with my questions and helpfulness made my day. Thanks miggy.

Got Canceled on twice after making sure my schedule was clear to be available for the appointments just to have a condescending receptionist not even give me a reason why it was canceled and to make it seem like it was my fault because I didn't have the app which I wasn't aware of

I was sent to Dr. Darosa for a birth defect of my L5 and he reviewed and listened to all my problems of my health . After his careful review and examination he sent me out for testing and to other doctors for my ongoing current health issues even though these health problems were unrelated to the reason I was sent to him. He is making sure my health is good before we deal with my L5. He is very caring and knowledgeable doctor and we need more doctors like this. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Dorosa for being such a compationate doctor. I am forever grateful for your help with my health.
