Santa Cruz Valley Regional Hospital Outpatient Therapy

I don’t want anyone to think the therapists aren’t good. On the contrary, they seem knowledgeable friendly and organized. However, I had a prescription for therapy for 3 days a week and was scheduled for once or twice a week there. I suffered from some nerve damage which rendered my leg to be non responsive and was told I had 6 weeks to regain my mobility and had big problems moving to do my exercises. I really needed help ( hence the prescription for 3 X a week) - at almost 4 weeks I scrambled to find another place that could help me.I feel that if this place could not fulfill my prescription they should have never taken me on and for that I cannot recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience at Santa Cruz P.T.. The therapists and staff were knowledgable, personable and efficient. Therapy helped improve my mobility and I was given the tools and resources I need to continue improvement. I had two instances where I was running late and when I called in they worked with me to reschedule once and start late the second time. I actually looked forward to my appointments each time. I will use this facility again in the future if needed and highly recommend.

The Therapists here are good, as far as that goes. However, their policy, as stated on their signs ink lobby, and patient paperwork, says if you're 15+ minutes late they can reschedule you. That is BS. yes, I was 10 min late... And they wouldn't see me. They have other patients, that's fine, I understand. Yet, they could've shaved 10 min of of my time. It's not that I MEAN to not be on time... Things happen. But, don't be fooled... It's NOT 15+min... It's whatever they choose.

Effective,efficient, personable and professional. Able to think outside the box. Challenging with hands on guidance and demonstration of movements providing great gains in my strength, flexibility and confidence. End result is increasing independence and overall freedom.
