Taflyn is amazing! She quickly eased all of the anxiety I had at my first appointment. Her warm personality makes you feel at ease and comfortable. She quickly understood the strengths and weaknesses of my body and her guidance has helped me significantly alleviate my pain. Thanks to her, in just a few months of sessions, I have made worlds of progress which I would never have been able to accomplish on my own. If you’re looking for a great pelvic floor PT, Taflyn is the best!!

After two prior courses of physical therapy, I finally found pelvic floor specialists who actually helped me! My PT, Jen, took the time to listen deeply to my long history of pelvic floor issues and then undertook a course of treatment that was targeted specifically to me. Besides the competent and effective physical therapists, the facility is perfect for anyone (like me) who has anxiety about pelvic floor treatment. The office is in an old Victorian and the non-institutional feel makes for relaxing sessions. Highly recommend.

Taflyn is a great listener and an incredibly knowledgeable, sensitive and an intuitive healer. She is a careful and thoughtful PT practitioner, and makes me feel very comfortable when I’m getting treatment. Whether she’s assessing my ailment, doing hands on work, or teaching me exercises, I always feel like I’m in good hands.

I worked with Jen who was friendly, caring and fun! She really showed that she wanted physical therapy to accomplish what I wanted and was very receptive to my feedback and was always trying different things to find what was most helpful! I definitely plan on returning for my 2nd pregnancy/post partum recovery.

I started seeing Taflyn for Pelvic floor therapy about 3 weeks postpartum c-section. I really wanted to focus on healing, restrengthening and preventing any issues that follow PP. Taflyn thoroughly assessed my pelvic floor with great detail and explained how each muscle connects, functions and addressed some issues I had. Taflyn did a lot of massage and scar mobilization work around my incision. I’d do these small moves at home and it really helped with preventing scar tissue build up and that tingling nerve sensation that went away. I’m was very active up till birth and after my c-section I felt so weak and was nervous to get back to my normal workouts once cleared by my OB. Taflyn helped ease me into it with gentle but effective movements, workout modifications and breathing techniques to get my core properly engaged and body aligned. Once I hit 8 weeks I was slowly getting back into my workouts and implementing everything I learned from her. I’m now 7 months pp, feeling amazing and back to my normal workouts. I’m so happy I found Taflyn and highly recommend her for all soon to be mamas or PP! After having a baby your body is not the same and it feels so foreign. Her treatments truly helped me feel better both mentally and physically and I felt like myself again. I plan to see Taflyn with my next pregnancy and PP :)

Taflyn is very good at her job, both knowledgeable, personable and encouraging. Visits for problems related to continence can be uncomfortable and Taflyn is just matter a fact and proceeds professionally and with understanding. She has also made many useful recommendations for related services that I can use on my own at home. I am very thankful she has chosen to specialize for pelvic health issues. I have referred friends to her, and am thankful.
