San Marcos Physical Therapy

PT turnover is incredibly high. Visited four times, had three different pts and once an assistant training to be an assistant. had to ask if I could actually have a PT look at me. I only saw a PT for 30 minutes the first visit. The next three visits were for less than 10 minutes if even. Mostly spent time with a delightful assistant for the same exercises. Unfortunately, my pain just increased the more I came. Very nice receptionist. I'm sure the PTs aren't bad. They just don't have time to see patients and must be over booked and owner just sees $$$ not true care. No wonder they can't keep a PT to work there. And two PTs quit in 3 weeks while I was there! My new PT sees each patient 30 minutes and then maybe an assistant after. Amazing when owner of a PT company cares about quality and not money!!!

I was a skeptic of physical therapy and when I no longer had the luxury of putting it off I expected the center to be intimidating like a gym. How relieved I was when I started therapy here. It feels like a safe spot to do recovery work. The attitude of the therapists and all who work there is always upbeat. There is an open conversation going on about random things that all patients who are there can join in on. I feel like I matter as a patient and I feel cared for and that they are well educated but have great way to explain things in normal folk terms. I actually look forward to my physical therapy appointments and I am seeing progress that I did not think would happen. I am very thankful and HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing this specific location to do your physical therapy.

Really lovely people who just want to make sure ur moving and heathy again. Went through a really rough patch thinking I couldn’t play sports or athletics and that my career was ruined but these people really fixed me and I’m back to normal without ever having to think about that injury again Do recommend for anyone young and old athletes or not

I would have to strongly disagree with the other review that only received one star. I have had a great experience at San Marcos physical therapy. Tristan and Sara are really professional and are seriously talented at what they do(highly recommend both of them). I am going through an awful Achilles injury and they really take the time to care about their clients unlike other therapists I have been too. They might have busy days where they have more than one client at a time, but each client is always very busy from work out to work out and nobody is EVER left unattended. I drive from Carlsbad, just because I know how good of a job Tristan does and really appreciate everything he does for me. Once again, I HIGHLY recommend Tristan and Sara!

Thank you San Marcos physical therapy.This is by far the best therapy I've ever had! They've given me the tools I need to function in life. Thank you to Exy ,Frank, Jaclyn ,Ryan, first and foremost Grace Peace, any physical therapy office in La Mesa will be fortunate to have her.

This is by far the best physical therapy experience I had my entire life. The staff makes you feel comfort and love but ensure you are proactive and feel helped and guided in your recovery. The secretaries know who you are and are flexible when they can be. I attended twice a week for 10 months! Those 10 months I will forever hold close to my heart. I am very grateful and very happy. I’m very impressed with San Marcos physical therapy. The staff is outstanding! Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable. The office is well organized and clean. If I could give them 10 stars instead of five, I would. They are wonderful!

In regards to the actual therapy It's not very personalized as the therapist is working on up to 5 people at the same time all in a big room and so they are not listening to you and your needs. After 6 visits I left and never once did I get a follow up call! Save your time and money and find someone else.
