San Luis Valley Health Conejos County Hospital

Ok. This hospital is hands down one of the greatest I've been to. I came in extremely sick dry heaving dehydrated, committing anything I tried to eat or drink. And felt extremely horrible. Nurse Ashley with blonde hair took AMAZING care of me. Like I didn't feel like just another number to them. I felt that they really cared and they didn't send me home until the following morning after a lot of meds and treatment, x rays, and etc. I would just like to say how much I truly appreciate all of you especially Ashley and the gentlemen Dr. That was there as well. I can't remember his name. But I just wanted reach out let y'all know how appreciated you are truly! 💜💜💜💜

Lovely staff! Came in last Saturday and needed stitches. They got me in right away and was out within 45 min. Jo at registration was the sweetest. Great service!

Unfortunately, due to bad health, I've had to make several trips to this hospital. Had a several day stay there as well. Every single time, the nurses and doctors have been incredible. I've never felt like a burden. They take such great care of me and don't treat me like I'm just a number. They don't get enough credit for the work they do. Edit: came here today for my husband and again, medical staff have been amazing. We see y'all and appreciate each and every one of you.

I spent several hours in the ER today. I was in a lot of pain & very miserable but it was an ideal visit. HUGE THANKS to Michelle, Lisa, Dr. Warner, Lab staff, Radiology & other nursing staff that I didn't get the names. I was treated quickly (3 mins in waiting room) & with kindness. Everything was explained before it was done. Unfortunately some items were stolen from our vehicle while we were there. I told the hospital & they immediately started investigating. They do have cameras. Nobody wants to need an ER but if you need one I highly recommend this hospital. Awesome staff & wonderful care!

I recently had to visit the ER and ended up at the SLV Hospital in La Jara for the first time. Everything about this facility is top notch. The ladies at the front desk, nurses, techs, doctors, and even the kitchen chef all went out of their way to help us out and get me the best care possible. Dr. Kitagawa is very nice and took the time to explain all the various tests and results. Shout out to Brent (chef) for making my kids some food while I was receiving care and Sarah for being an exceptional nurse.

We brought my dad to the ER today chose to come to LaJara instead of Alamosa due to the treatment we had received the last couple times there and I can't say enough good things about the la Jara staff and Dr.Killer They were very attentive to my father they were very good to him they kept my mother and I informed the whole entire time. From the lady who met us at the car with a wheel chair his nurse, Dr. and all the others who attended to him were friendly helpful and did their job with compassion and with kindness and professionalism thank you for taking care of my dad

This hospital emergency room took great care of my wife recently when she experienced some severe burns. They were very attentive to her needs and were great to answer any and all questions that she and I had. They have also taken great care of other family members of mine that have required emergency services and are always welcoming when family members have concerns about their loved ones injuries. Their staff is very passionate about their jobs which is noted by patients and their family members. I would recommend this hospital above all others in the San Luis Valley.

Over Labor Day weekend we were camping off the grid and my son had an accident that required after hours emergency care. Dr. Davis and the staff at Conejos County Hospital's ER were excellent. They kept my son and us calm, got us processed and seen within 15 minutes, and had us back on the road to enjoying the holiday weekend in under an hour and a half. I would highly recommend utilizing their emergency care services in the future!
