San Luis Urgent Care

Front desk staff are RUDE. Took my kids a couple of times being it's the only "urgent care" by us and been told it's only allergies. With all my years of experience in pediatric Healthcare fevers do not come from allergies! I feel their diagnosis for everything is allergies just go get you in and out

Came on a Tuesday, a little after 1.. was told to come back after 3 because Dr was going to lunch after the waiting patients. All 3 places here went to lunch at the same time. Came back at 3, it’s 3:30 still not on a waiting list and no Dr..

You go the urgent to want to get treatment and the response from the front desk, states that they are only treating children!!! Unreal for urgent care!!

I have trypanophobia (fear of needles) and I can control myself I just have to be given a second. I told the nurse to give me a second but instead she pushed me against the exam table and injected me. I walked to my car in shock and cried really hard, I stayed in my room crying all night. I couldn’t contain myself. One of the many bad experiences in this place I’ve ever heard. This triggered my binge-eating disorder, I found the experience in this facility traumatizing. If I could give a negative star or at most zero stars I definitely would without hesitation.

First of all Larry is a bad doctor been seen by him 3 times for my kids and gave me a strong medicine for my son that was not even meant for him. Also went in at 8:18pm and said oh they can’t see my son since it’s about to close. When they take there last patient at 8:35pm that’s what they told me before. Also the lobby was empty.

Overall great service. I wasnt feeling well and I went alone. Was confused of what kind of insurance I have (my school sometimes is confusing over its insurance) they said my insurance covered the consult. Everything was great. I went to Walmart to get my meds and two of my prescribed meds weren’t given to me. Before I could pay, they told me my insurance was not valid! I was like, but the urgent care just approved it! I looked at my papers from the urgent care and it said that my mom had gone with me to the consult. I’m gonna have to call tomorrow to get this straightened out: the insurance and meds. Again, though, great fast and professional service. But my other ⭐️ is for the hassle of having to call again.

I hardly consider even showing up there, but this small town barely has any options. They always give bad costumer service. Whatever service you ask for they cant offer or rarely have access to offer it to you. I dont know why is it called 'urgent care' if they will suggest you to go to Yuma or any other place rather than give you service here.

This place was the only place that listened to our situation and tested us during this crazy time. We had no signs or symptoms but were third party exposure to a covid-19 case. Doctor Gutierrez was great with my whole family! Then after results he listened to all of our questions and worries! He went above and beyond to make us as informed as possible to make the best choices for our situation. We also watched him do the best with dealing with difficult people coming in with not the greatest attitudes as well. He took care of everyone while it becoming very busy very fast! He also went above and beyond for all the firefighters, police officers and emt’s as well! Office staff were awesome and very nice as well. We called multiple times for results and never once got an attitude! Seriously a great place to go.
