Dependable and highly professional with great therapists. Their communication via email and phone is superior and always with quick responses. We have been using SDOT through the Early Start program and have now joined their toddler program on-site. Our weekly speech therapist is always on time, very professional in her practice, and excellent in working with our son. He is always excited to see and "play" with her. If a session is missed for vacation or illness, they always send us a home program for that week. All have noticed a huge improvement in his speech in the last year! The toddler group has been a great asset to help with socialization and play time. Speech therapists are paired one to one with each toddler, and various activities are done as a group in the 2 hour session. It has been a great addition to his weekly speech therapy sessions. SDOT is overall an excellent clinic that I highly recommend.

San Diego Occupational Therapy has been a godsend in our lives. We started coming over three years ago when our r child needed feeding therapy. From there our oldest started attending, we began speech, physical therapy and overall support for our kids and family. I have not had a single therapist needing anything short of amazing. They treat every kids kindly and are enthusiastic to see them all. They’ve supported our kids starting school and the challenges that come with that, they’ve been there through new babies and deaths in the family. My children’s schedules and self Regulation are noticeably worse when we miss a session. The office staff-especially Jeni juggle it all flawlessly. When dealing with neurodivergent children and the stressors in the families lives, having a team of people like SDOT is invaluable. We travel 2 hours round trip 2 times a week, because there is no facility or staff that compares. The gym is incredible. Our kids need a lot of heavy sensory input, with a ball pit, zip line, rock wall, trampoline, swings there is always a new exciting way to help them get that input while they also work on the other pieces. I will continue to recommend SDOT to everyone I meet.

We had an exceptional experience with SDOT. Sarah in particular was such a rockstar with our daughter who looked forward to her sessions every week. Definitely worth the extra drive time. Cannot recommend highly enough.

There are not enough superlatives to explain how great our experience was with the SDOT team. They truly care about helping your little ones with the skills to grow and succeed. Our son was a patient for years here and the skills he acquired will help him for the rest of his life. We are truly thankful to Ms. Ally and the SDOT team for the care they provided our son. We would recommend them to anyone who's little one needs this type of care.

We had the pleasure of working with SDOT from the time our daughter was 10 weeks old until 5 months, where we received care from the physical therapy team as well as Dr. Stephanie, the ultimate feeding specialist. Our daughter had a tongue and lip tie revision at 6 weeks and Dr. Stephanie helped our daughter 're-learn' how to properly feed and gave us tools and exercises to help reinforce this at home. The physical therapy team (shout out to Abbie) took our daughter from not being able to hold her head up to thriving and exceeding motor and gross milestones within just a few months. SDOT was extremely welcoming, informative, and very knowledgeable in their respective areas. I HIGHLY recommend SDOT to anyone looking for these types of services.

I’ve gone to SDOT for both of my kids! Myofunctional therapy when they were babies and needed help with strengthening their tongue and mouth. But most recently, with my 3 year old and occupational therapy. He saw the therapists for about 10 months, consistently. We put him in OT to help him open up to new experiences and people, help understand and express his feelings, and to find his sensory needs to help regulate him in all situations. Towards the end of our journey at SDOT we put him in feeding therapy also. I would say all services have helped my son open up more and explore more foods and situations. He’s still a toddler 🤪 but I have seen him grow in many ways since he’s been “playing” with the therapists at SDOT. all of the therapists my son saw were great, very accommodating and caring. They never pushed him and accepted him for who he is while also trying to gently nudge him to open up. The therapists gave attainable advice on how to help him at home. We are moving which is the only reason we are stopping OT, but I definitely recommend SDOT!

Let's just start by saying my (now teenage) son LOVES to go to SDOT. He would choose OT above just about any other activity. We sought out non-school OT several years ago to work on self-regulation. From the welcome we got the first time we walked in, we knew it was the right place. While we have a "regular" therapist he works with, there have been times he has worked with most all of the others. Each one is absolutely fantastic. SDOT has been a true game-changer for our whole family for all the gains our kiddo has achieved.

Stephanie, OTD, and Ally, SLP, are by far the best pediatric therapists I have encountered in San Diego! I am an OT myself and taken many courses over the years further experiencing a number of OT and ST therapists in my son's life. I have searched for years for therapists like Stephanie and Ally who can help support me with my son's many impairments, but have not been very satisfied. Stephanie as well as Ally posses a firm foundation in sensory integration to maximize optimal child participation in activities minimizing maladaptive behaviors. I am further grateful for this clinic which offers social skills for speech and language development among peers; this service has been nonexistent to me until now! I am so grateful for the knowledge Stephanie and Ally possess as well as their extraordinary kindness and respect for not only my son but myself and others as well. Furthermore, the admin team with SDOT is also the most amazing team I have ever experienced! Jeni (office manager) and Corena are an incredible two person team not only coordinating all staff scheduling, meetings, etc. but promptly replying to all my questions often within minutes of my email. They further display great flexibility and timeliness in accommodating family schedules . Jeni even worked extra for me to coordinate with the owner in order to help facilitate starting a charter school contract with my son's charter school so he would be able to get services funded by his school; this was HUGE for me especially since my insurance does not cover SDOT. Even the clinic location works to supplement this phenomenal experience being tucked among tall pine trees reminding me of hiking trails in Idyllwild...of course the presence of tech buildings ruins this a bit however, the tall trees still seem overwhelm the location with serenity.
