Sabino is a great facility that will treat your loved ones with nothing but the best care! When you walk in first thing you see are the many awards they have won throughout the years, and they have an amazing therapy team as well as the nurses and CNA’s just being wonderful and treating everyone with respect an having a great attitude. Every staff member is always available to go above and beyond to help patients and family members with their needs. The experience I’ve had an Sabino has been nothing but amazing and is definitely a place I would recommend to take care of your loved ones!

I have been to sabino canyon rehab twice and I was really impressed both times. The staff is very good at taking care of their patients. My physical therapist Paul is awesome, he was the main reason I came back a second time. He is very patient and caring and gentle. The only thing that I can say bad about Sabino Canyon is the food most of the time was cold. But the chef salads are very good. Thank you everyone for taking good care of me.

I am deeply disappointed with the care my mother received at Sabino Canyon Rehabilitation Center. During her week-long stay, she was neglected and treated with a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. Firstly, a CNA roughly yanked a sheet from under her and forced her onto her side, despite her recent hip replacement surgery. This kind of treatment is not only unprofessional but also dangerous for patients recovering from hip surgery. Additionally, my mother was left in a soiled diaper for over an hour, which is completely unacceptable. Patients are here to get better, not worse. The facility itself was in a deplorable state. The ceiling tiles were stained, and the bathroom was missing ceiling tiles altogether, creating an unsanitary and unsafe environment. While there were maybe two decent nurses who showed genuine care, the majority of the staff were miserable and rude. It's understandable that not everyone is happy at work, but these workers had no problem voicing their discontent to patients and their families, which is highly unprofessional and distressing. If I had access to a wheelchair and a doctor at the time of the soiled diaper incident, I would have signed my mother out against medical advice (AMA) immediately. Thankfully my mother was able and determined to get out as fast as possible(one week exactly) because she was slipping into an anxious and depressive state due to the lack of compassion she received here. The last thing someone who is newly unable to care for themselves needs is people who make you feel like a burden. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere for their loved one's care.

Incredibly kind and committed nursing staff, the admissions department, social services, the director and assistant director of nursing, every essential role and department head are staffed with compassionate, optimistic, solution-oriented health care professionals. I have witnessed them helping patients in dire straits and celebrating those patients who have accomplished their rehab goals and discharge them home as heroes. We are fortunate to have assembled a dedicated group of men and women in a facility like this in our community. It is also reassuring to know that they have opened their doors to nursing students to learn and become the next generation of care givers while setting the standard for what exceptional healthcare looks like. Thank you all at Sabino canyon rehab for the care and the training you provide to our community.

A close friend of mine came here not long ago for P.T. (Physical therapy) after being told their facility was one of the best on the matter of recovery. He confirmed with me that their staff were professional, kind and accommodating to his needs and were patient with him every step of the way. On my last visit with him he was reluctant to leave, but after checking in on him after his time spent here I'd say his time was well spent. So I'd like to thank the staff of Sabino for the outstanding care of a good friend. Definitely five star service!!

This place doesn’t even deserve a star, the care was horrible. There are a couple staff members, Jenny and Neo were CNAs that cared. They failed to give my father breathing treatments as scheduled. We won’t even discuss his embarrassment of being left in a Tshirt with an adult diaper and no other clothes. I understand insurance dictates but insurance goes off of notes, which in this case said my dad was fully independent, that’s funny because he can barely stand on his own. Today was discharge with absolutely no discharge planning. I wasn’t asked once if he had a walker to go home, when I asked when his last nebulizer treatment was I received a blank stare only to find his last treatment was yesterday at 7pm. No one was alarmed that he was straight breathe. In the 7 days he was there he lost 10 pounds due to the horrible food. The list goes on. If you love your friend or family member, please keep them away from this facility.
