The entire process was phenomenal. Russell Medical has some true gems. The sweet lady in registration, Veronica and Brenda in out patient, Rosalyn, Genie and Jamie in the OR, Dr Cooper, and the dynamic duo in recovery Marley & Tiffany. We were very blessed to be cared by the best.

From the time I checked in to the time I left my experience was 5 star. Dr. Baker and his team were amazing! The second floor nurses were phenomenal, Jack and his crew with pt were the absolute best. The food was great and the cleaning staff was professional and friendly. If I forgot anyone I apologize but I just can't say enough about how blessed we are to have this facility in Alexander City. Thanks for everything ❤️

I took my son (8yrs old) in for an x-ray and the whole experience was a lot more pleasant than I thought it would be. The registration was easy and the staff were friendly. When we went to get the x-ray, the technician was extremely helpful and friendly with my son. He was super nervous but they helped him calm down and he said it wasn't scary at all. I appreciate all the help that we received and the friendly faces that we met.

I had a diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound yesterday. I was very nervous (because I had breast cancer 6 years ago) and both women made me feel much better. The results were posted on the portal really quickly. I was so pleased and happy with my results. Dr Minter is a great doctor and his nurse is amazing. They both helped my feelings a lot after talking to them. Thanks to all of you for a great job!

Carmen was very nice, kind, loving and made it the best experience I have ever had being in a hospital. Carmen treated my son with so much care and concern and made us feel comfortable during our stay. Thank you Carmen.

I was a Russell Medical Center 11/30 for outpatient surgery in room 209 . I had two nurses one female named Stephanie and male nurse I think was Brian ( I may be wrong on male nurse name ) but they were two of the best nurses I have ever had . Stephanie was in room the most and she was so nice , professional and caring as was the male nurse . They made me feel very safe and relaxed because I was very nervous at first . Also the lady were I signed in was very friendly and she even went out of her way to go get me a wheelchair and took my to 2 nd floor herself we talked the whole time very sweet lady . I also want to say everyone in the hospital was friendly and nice !! I was so amazed at how clean everything was . This hospital and it employees make Baptist Hospital in Montgomery look bad . This is only place I’m going in the future !!!

I was greeted and taken back to the surgery prep area. They were so quick and polite...I was ready to go see the doctor. I was put to sleep fast & easy. I woke up to nice nurses keeping me warm and my nice doctor telling me what happened. I would give them a 5 star recommendation!

Nurses and dietary were amazing friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better Surgical staff with my case being an emergency surgery it went smoothly. Those deserve a 5 star. Now on the main reason for my review.The nurse practitioners were rude did not listen to your needs at all. I had a cut 10 inches across my stomach equivalent to a woman's C- section basically. I waited 9 hours in pain before I could get medication. My wife asked to speak with a doctor and was told the Nurse practitioner was on call. She came in with a attitude and after my wife treated to take me to another facility she finally let the nurse give me something for pain. This was inhumane and very unprofessional. My wife was talked down to and the Nurse practitioner was rude and disrespectful. As a Veteran who was told to go to the ER for my situation I would not recommend going to this hospital. It's not the staff they can only do what they are allowed to do. The leaders are the problem and if the Nurse practitioner is the lead and sets the tone as an example then that's a major issue.The stat rating is for them not my Nurses or Surgeons.
