I had a great experience working with Sean! I had gone to multiple PTs in the past that never really helped me solve why I experienced pain while running. Sean was very attentive and really cared about finding the underlying problem instead of just "easy" fixes. He gave me the tools to be able to keep running pain-free and also helped my running form a lot. I've always had to quit running in the past but now I am feeling much better and running has become much more enjoyable, so I highly recommend working with Sean!

I had gone to Sean for some knee pain I developed with running for a couple months. As a fellow PT myself I was just unable to figure it out or do anything to reduce my pain and knew I had to reach out for some help! I also knew exactly what I was looking for when it came to searching for the right physical therapist and clinic and Run Potential was it! Sean is so knowledgeable and specific when it comes to running and running mechanics and it has been so fun learning from him! Within a few sessions I am now running completely pain free again and working on changing my running form so it is more efficient. He also set me up with a great strengthening program specific to my needs so that I can stay strong and pain free in the future. I highly recommend Sean with Run Potential, he’s one of the good ones!

I have been working with Sean since around May of this year doing physical therapy for the left side of my body. Sean has been so great to work with all around. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and has helped me strengthen my problem areas significantly. He is very quick to send out a recap email after the session to refresh what we talked about and the exercises that I need to do. If I have any questions outside of the pt session he is quick to answer back. He is very understanding that sometimes life gets in the way and progress sometimes takes a couple steps back, but he stays encouraging and motivating which really helps when that happens. He is very nice and professional! If you need physical therapy, I highly recommend him.

Sean came highly recommended to me by a family member while I was in Colorado, and I’m so glad I gave him a try. Living in California, I’ve worked with several physical therapists in Los Angeles, but Sean truly stands out. Even after returning home, we continued our sessions via FaceTime, and I was impressed with how effective the remote work was. What really sets Sean apart is his focus on running. Unlike any other PT I’ve worked with, he took me back to basics and helped me completely transform my running form. My old form had been causing injuries, but with his guidance, I’ve been able to gradually build up my mileage again. While I’m not yet at my previous distances, I’m getting there—and I’m just thrilled to be running pain-free again. I had honestly thought my running days were over after battling a chronic case of plantar fasciitis for over a year. Sean’s approach isn’t a quick fix—there’s still plenty of work involved, like strengthening exercises and careful focus on form—but it’s definitely paying off. Sean is knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and as an experienced runner himself, he deeply understands the challenges. If you’re looking to get back to running, even if you’re out of state, I can’t recommend him enough.

Sean has played an invaluable role in my health and sports performance this year. In training to run my first 50-miler, I came to Sean with a lower leg issue that was causing me pain and mechanical issues both below and up the chain. I was so impressed with his listening skills and thorough assessment. And he gave me a program for rehab that was completely doable and workable alongside my run training. I was able to continue training while strengthening those weak spots, and I finished my first 50 miler in July, which felt like achieving a big goal. I’ve since recommended several other clients to him and feel completely confident doing so. Thank you, Sean!

Sean is an INCREDIBLE PT, and I highly recommend working with him. There are no words to express my deep gratitude what he has done for me in the past 5 months. I had runner’s knee for over a year before I came to Sean. Before I went to Sean, I went to a couple orthopedists, and none were able to resolve my issue and most simply said to stop running to fix my pain. I did not want to give up running so I reached out to Sean, and he was able to do a thorough physical analysis and give me strength and running plans to get back on track. I had a lofty goal when I came to him that I wanted to run a 50 mile trail race in the mountains, and he gave me the confidence, skills, knowledge, and training to be ready for it. 5 months later I can say I successfully completed the 50 mile race much better than I ever would have imagined and feeling really good after too! Thank you for everything Sean!

Highly recommend working with Run Potential! Sean is truly the best and knows exactly what to recommend to improve your form and help you heal from any injuries you may have. As a new runner, I quickly suffered a knee injury as I was training for my first half marathon. After a little while of seeing a different PT who ran out of ideas for my treatment plan, I came to see Sean. When I started with Sean, I couldn’t even get through a 2 mile run because of the pain. After just a couple sessions, I was already seeing huge improvements in my pain levels, and now not even 2 months after my initial eval, I’m running pain free for hours on end. Sean is super knowledgeable and fun to work with. 100% worth the investment - just do it, you won’t be sorry!

I had an outstanding experience working with Sean Rimmer as my physical therapist. From the very first session, it was clear how thorough and dedicated Sean was to understanding my needs and challenges. Sean conducted a detailed assessment of my injury, taking the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel confident in the process. Each session felt purposeful, with exercises and techniques that were tailored specifically to my progress, never rushing through or overlooking any detail. Beyond his technical expertise, Sean is incredibly personable and adaptable, always making sure I felt comfortable and supported. He was quick to adjust the treatment plan based on how I was feeling that day. Sean's warm and positive attitude made each session something I looked forward to, and his competence and professionalism left me assured I was in excellent hands. I highly recommend Sean Rimmer to anyone seeking a caring and skilled physical therapist!
