Adam has been an amazing support in my recovery journey. I was struggling with hamstring pain for nearly 8 months before seeing Adam and after just three sessions, I am able to run/strength train just as well as before the injury! His approach is thorough, mindful and challenging (in a good way). I can't recommend him enough and will certainly be using him in the future for all of my PT and coaching needs!

7 months ago I could barely even walk let alone run. I began to think my running days were over. That is when I found Run Mental! Not only did Adam help me get back to running again, but I am a stronger and smarter athlete now. I've learned how to listen to my body and train in a healthy way that will help me avoid injuries in the future. I'm so thankful for Adam and the team at Run Mental and couldn't recommend them enough!

I participated in VIRTUAL PT with Adam with hopes of healing my hamstring/hip pain while running. I have long term goals of a 50 miler but I couldn't get past 4 miles without pain. I was a little skeptical at first how effective virtual would be, but I was pleasantly surprised! Adam was incredibly patient and thorough on our first video meeting and every time thereafter. I was able to demonstrate through exercises and communication everything needed for a full assessment. I started improving after the first session and set of exercises. My pain has gone away and I'm steadily increasing my volume and have little to no pain while driving. Highly recommend. Dont let "virtual" keep you from accessing this.

I have had chronic knee pain (20+ years) and the activities I could do without pain had been dwindling. I hadn't run in 3 years. I went to see Adam and he developed a very personalized strength and training plan for me. My progress was very slow at first and I was frustrated because I was still experiencing a lot of pain. However, after staying the course I have made massive progress, am stronger than I have been in decades, and have been able to resume some of my favorite activities including running. Working with Adam has reframed how I view injury and pain and rather than avoiding painful activities, I now know that the pain is often telling me what areas are deficient and need some work. Fully recommend visiting Run Mental for athletic rehab!

Earlier this year, I decided to train and run my first 1/2 marathon with the intention of completing it under 2-hours. While I managed to successfully complete this goal (with a compression sleeve over my knee), I ended up with tremendous amounts of pain and discomfort in my left knee. I ran a trail 10k two-weeks (with the sleeve again) later with the result of even more debilitating pain in the knee. Discouraged, I left running alone for a few months for healing and returned to other endurance sports that were less impactful. Early September, I got back into running to train for a lengthy 14er objective and the pain returned quickly. I completed the objective successfully with a close friend and he recommended me to RunMental for a consultation. Adam got back with me immediately, consulted with me over the phone and set me up with Chase Carson within a few days. The in-person consultation with Chase was professional, thorough, and extremely enlightening. I immediately signed up for a program that included extensive rehabilitation training and run analysis to get my foundation back in order to not only eliminate the fear of running with pain, but to exceed in my running goals. The training was challenging, educational, and humbling. Chase knew exactly where I needed to get stronger and stripped down my weekly training by adding in new exercises to build a new core foundation with progression as I got stronger. I've never experienced anything like this before, but trusted the process and did the work prescribed to me from Chase every week. By my second and third sessions, I began to no longer feel any knee pain and exceeded my personal pace times in 5k/10k weekly runs without the sleeve over my knee. My final run analysis revealed that the work has proven to correct many of the weaknesses I had before causing the over compensating pain in the left knee. This was money well spent and I wish I'd known about RunMental prior to my racing pursuits and DIY training. The knowledge from Chase and training was priceless to my health. Trust RunMental and their training. Chase is a proven accomplished runner who runs and practices this work every week. I will forever highly recommend and consult RunMental for any running or physical endeavors. It's not worth hurting yourself when you have the professionals at RunMental available to you.

I went to Adam because I was preparing for a couple 1/2 marathon’s and my knee and foot would hurt so bad I could barely run a mile. We put a plan in place over the next couple of months and it worked! His PT also made it where I could sleep on my side (this was an unexpected bonus). Aside from PT, Adam would check in with me between appointments to see how I was doing and guide me through some tweaks to improve even further. If you are a runner and feel like something is off, it probably is. Before involving doctors you should work with Adam. I am so glad I did 😃. I completed both of my 1/2 marathons without any of the pain that I had previously.

Adam was exactly what I was looking for in a PT! As a long time recreational runner who has struggled with aches and pains on and off for years, I really felt like Adam understood my issues and made an effective and efficient plan for recovery. I felt safe and comfortable in Adam's care and was amazed at how quickly we were able to make progress. I'd recommend Adam to any runner looking to run safe, healthy, and strong for a long time!

At 60+, I needed to find a way to boost my running performance. Adam at RunMental provided that boost with a variety of running and strength workouts closely monitored by him (online via Final Surge app - in-person consultations have an additional fee) on a daily basis. My pace for an extended run dropped from around 12min/mile to under 9min/mile in about 6 months with his program. While I didn’t quite reach my goal of setting a personal best in the 2024 GoG 10M, I finished with what I feel is a respectable 9:08/mile pace thanks to Adam’s coaching.
