I strongly recommend that you do not go here for physical therapy. The physical therapists do good work. And the front desk receptionists are kind and knowledgeable. But in my opinion the billing practices are very odd. And billing itself is a mess. I’ve had my share of injuries over the years that have required PT. This is the 4th PT office I’ve been to in the Denver Metro so I am no stranger to PT. This is the 1st time I’ve encountered an office where your appointment with your physical therapist can be shared with another patient. You do not necessarily get dedicated 1:1 time. The bills don’t reflect this though. Same price for split focus. On top of that, you are line item billed for every single piece of equipment you touch. Or any work that is done to you. This is not explained in advance of your first visit. My past experiences have always been 1:1 time at a set price. My insurance has not changed across all the clinics I’ve been to. So, this is not a problem with my insurance. They also charge wildly more than I’ve ever personally experienced. One PT clinic I regularly went to didn’t take insurance. And they charged less than Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport. After seeing my first bill in the mail I stopped going to this practice immediately. I paid my outstanding bills online, using the “Visit Us Online” instructions as per the bill. And 3 weeks later received the same bill with a warning that my account was delinquent and will be sent to collections. I called billing and it turns out that their payment instructions, or their website, or both, are incorrect. And I was tasked with calling a different office to get a refund and then call the billing department back to pay ‘correctly’. I am essentially being tasked with fixing their mistake for them. I can’t imagine how many patients the billing department is tasking with fixing the organization’s mistake. I recommend going to the review website that starts with a “y” to see other reviews that mimic what I’ve said here. Do. Not. Go. Here.

I showed up day one with extreme lower lumbar pain. I was very nervous to make any movements, and I cannot explain how welcomed I was when I arrived. PT Brett Kummer was fantastic. She helped with my beginner anxiety, and got me started with some great core strengthening exercises. I highly recommend Spine and Sport PT.

From Sue at the front desk to Brett, my PT, everything was top notch. Came in with back pain that affected every day activities and got me back moving freely again

My husband had shoulder surgery and had some extended issues. He was referred to RMSS by his orthopedic doctor. His shoulder was so painful that he literally got his hair cut because he couldn’t comb it. Fast forward and he is around the corner from playing golf again. Special thanks to PT Brett K, who has kept his optimism and energy high. As a former professional athlete he has a great deal of experience with trainers and treatment and he says Brett is exceptional at pinpointing the origin of his pain and targeting the work to be done. Brett has a skill set beyond her years and he looks forward to every treatment.

I tore my ACL and meniscus in October 2022- without a doubt I wouldn’t be anywhere near as far along in my recovery and restrengthening without Allison and her team. This office takes such great care of their patients and makes physically therapy a joy to look forward to. Sue is a fantastic and involved receptionist who has made my multiple insurance changes a breeze. Couldn’t recommend this office enough.

Highly recommend Rocky Mountain Spine & Sport for physical therapy after knee replacement surgery! I was able to go from wobbling with a cane to dancing at my son's wedding. Alison's expertise and encouragement throughout the whole process - from finding the right exercise to strengthen the knee while mitigating the pain was tremendous. I am so grateful to Alison, and the entire DTC team, for their guidance and support through this process.

I have had a wonderful experience at Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport. Due to the small size of the clinic, it feels like everyone is family. Brett has been so helpful in my recovery after ACL surgery. She listens to my needs and is very skilled in helping me reach my goals. She even took an additional course to expand her knowledge in new therapy treatments for me which shows how much she truly cares about her patients.
