Robertson Counseling

Life changing! My experience with Robertson Counseling has been exceptionally helpful to me and my family. I never once felt looked down on or judged for needing help with my family conflicts. When I started working with Ben, I was worried about some of my older teenagers leaving home and never speaking with me again. With his help, I have moved from A, losing sleep over constant stress over shattered relationships, to B, a point of healing, fine tuning my family councils, and providing positive and negative feedback to my teenagers. Over the past few months, I have learned skills that I consider essential for every father. Working with Ben is a delight, and his professional use of stories and examples are instructive and insightful for working through my own family conflicts. Thank You!!

Auburn Robertson is a very empathetic person with a lot of life skills and experience, and a highly qualified counselor. Definitely give Robertson Counseling a call. Good therapy is hard to find!

North Dakota is truly blessed to have Robertson Counseling available to them! We lived in ND for 4 years and while we lived there we had the privilege of knowing and working with the Robertson’s for our counseling needs. We were going through a life crisis that affected our whole family in different ways. 4 of us went to counseling at different times. We honestly wouldn’t have gotten through that time period with out their expertise and kind wise listening ears. We all still reflect back on certain moments and sessions we had with them where we learned such important insights that have impacted our lives immensely! I consider them our dear friends ! I would recommend them to anyone needing therapy in that area. They were amazing for us.

There are no issues with the counselors. My daughter had a great expierence with Taylor and she learned a lot of great coping skills. The reason for my two star review is due to the billing department of Robertson Counseling. I was billed twice for things that were out of my control. Being in the military and with the unique mission on base, I was tasked last minute and was unable to take my daughter to her appointment. I called Robertson right away to let them know and the front desk seemed receptive, until I was later billed for a missed appointment. The second time I was billed, I called them the day prior to let them know that my daughter was not going to be able to make it. Again, the front desk never mentioned that I would be billed for a missed appointment. I receieved a letter in the mail, billing me for a missed appointment. When I called the billing department to see why I was billed, she mentioned that I called the day prior, still within that 24 hour mark (21 hour mark to be exact). Again, nothing wrong with the counselors. Taylor has been great! But if you do intend to go to Robertson and you have something unexpected pop up, ENSURE you call 24 hours out, on the dot, or you will be billed for a missed appointment.

Not only are these folks professional, they are very empathetic. Their personal style nurtures trust within their clientele. Few counselors are effective. This group gets things done.

I have been receiving services from Robertson Counseling for almost two years now. I cannot properly put into words my gratitude for the expertise and sheer kindness of both Auburn and Benjamin Robertson. They have helped me and my five children through some incredibly intense trauma. Some of my children are very resistant to talking about their experiences, but the Robertsons were able to get them to open up and discuss their feelings with ease. Their services have been expanding rapidly, and it is no surprise as they are amazing at what they do and well loved in the community. Their building is so beautiful that just sitting in the waiting room feels like you’re relaxing at the spa. It is such a clean and calming environment. The staff is friendly and helpful, as well. I absolutely recommend Robertson counseling and wish there were more than five stars to give.

Don’t know what I would’ve done without the help and support from these amazing people. Lost my dad a couple years back and the counseling I received was beyond helpful. I took so much insight and learned many skills that I still use to this day. Forever grateful!

Robertson Counseling has helped our family with a myriad of things. Our experience has been one of compassion and sympathy. This is a judgement free zone where they truly just want to help us become our best self. They’re also one of the few, if not the only, Christian therapists in the area. Mental health is just as important, if not more, than physical health in our society today. This is the best place to start!
