Riviera Sports Physical Therapy

Riviera Sports Physical Therapy is the first place my family and I consider for post surgery rehab or that nagging pain that just won't go away! I have always been impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and how the therapists have a genuine interest in patient care. I have typically worked with Arlene in the past and she quickly diagnosis my trouble area and develops a thorough plan for recovery. I 100% recommend this clinic!

So grateful to Frank and his super capable and attentive team for fixing me. I've had three ortho issues in the past five years and the team has done a great job rehabing me. It's depressing to not have full access to my favorite activities due to an injury, but the cheerful crew always spends the time working through my struggles with a positive vibe that really enhances and speeds the healing process. Place is clean and professional. I always feel like the most important person when I'm there. Thank You Riviera Sports Physical Therapy Team !!!!

Over the years I’ve taken advantage of the highly professional care which is available from the good folks at Riviera Sports Physical Therapy. This is my third time using the services of RSPT, and I must say, they never disappoint! This time around I’m working with Jeff Okerman, a highly skilled PT, professional and focused while at the same time personable and friendly. Unlike my experience at two other (unnamed) PT establishment’s I’ve never felt hurried or abandoned or shorted when it comes to the care provided. Jeff and the entire support staff of Riviera Sports Physical Therapy can be TRUSTED with your recovery and rehabilitation, I highly and confidently recommend them!

From entering the building, to leaving with my next appointments scheduled, I feel so fortunate to have found Riviera Sports Physical Therapy. It is so scary to have limited mobility due to injury and I didn't think my knee would ever feel like it could work properly again. Everyone there is nurturing, patient, kind, and so, so skilled in their work. Everyone should be so lucky as me to get PT here.

I feel so lucky to have found Riviera Sports Physical Therapy. Grant Uyemura was able to diagnose exactly what was happening with my hamstring and between the deep tissue work and targeted exercises I was back on the court in three to four weeks. The staff were all really attentive and the communication between the team made it easy to stay on track. Highly recommend!!

Therapist was nice, why it gets 2 stars. But don't go if you like one on one quality therapy where you actually get an hours worth. They double book so if you get seen on time, which they were about 10 minutes late for me, you maybe get 20 minutes with the therapist and then you are passed to an assistant in a busy room full of people for maybe 15 minutes. Thats not an hour yet they bill insurance for the whole hour and leave me with a copay. Today was a joke. I could do this at home for free. They better not charge me for today it would be really wrong. 35 minutes..never going back.

I loved Riviera Sports Physical Therapy in Redondo Beach. Before I found them, I started out at another therapy business. The other lame physical therapy place hardly used a licensed therapist (located in same city, and where there used to be a hospital several years ago. Also, they have another location in a nearby city, both cities start with same letter. I don't like writing bad reviews, so you will have to figure this other lame place out by this description.) Most times I went to this other place, there was not even a therapist in sight, at least I was not aware of any therapist overseeing my treatment. The person treating me was a student, and, again, had virtually no supervision. I was not willing to risk my surgery recovery on an non-professional. It seemed like I was just part of a system to bill insurance...just making money off of students--where was the therapist?--out sailing, watching TV? I don't know, but it was effectively a scam. Fortunately, I tried Riviera Sports Physical Therapy and had exactly the opposite experience. Licensed trained experienced therapists treated you every time--and usually the same one, so consistent treatment. After the main treatment (which lasted a long time), the exercises and other stretches were done with assists or students, but they were always within sight of several therapists, and this was not the main treatment, just part of it. I wish I could go to Riviera Sports Physical Therapy every week for maintenance. Thanks Arlene Hsu!

Excellent customer service from the front desk to the trainers in the back. Great communication between trainers so even if you are working with someone different, your rehab program continues without a hitch. Also love how you are challenged daily to push a little more than you think you are capable of. Thanks for caring and keep up the good work!
