Riverwood Health and Rehab Center

I could not have been happier with the care my loved one received. They took a personal, compassionate interest each and every one of the staff. From Heather in Admissions to the nurses Tina and Dell to the CNA Courtney. Do not hesitate to put your family in this facility. I highly recommend Riverwood.

I recently visited my grandmother and when I entered my grandmothers room housekeeping was just about done. I feel I need to take the time to brag about the housekeeper, my grandmother said the housekeeping people are always so kind and patient. As I pushed my grandmother around everything smelt so clean and refreshing. I’m happy we choose Riverwood for my grandmother.

My mother was a resident at River wood until she passed, mom loved the caring nurses and made many friends while there. The facility has activities for those who will participate , mom enjoyed bingo specifically and the monthly birthday parties for the residents . The facility staff are friendly and accommodating, mom had no real complaints.

This place is absolutely disgusting! I visited a patient there and as I walked in the aroma of urine burned my nose I traveled all the way thru the facility and the smell was all around, not just in a localized area. This place should be shut down immediately. I have NEVER been into a facilty in this condition. They haven't cleaned or dusted in years it appears.

Thank you to Riverwood for the care and kindness given to our loved one. Our beloved mother was there for a short time and recently passed away there. We could not have asked for a more compassionate facility especially at the time of her passing. We were able to be with her and the staff did everything to make her comfortable as well as us. Checking on us but also giving us the private family time that we needed. They always explained everything they were doing before they gave any medication or did anything and asked what we wanted. Thank you to Therapy for going above and beyond for her as well as numerous nurses and CNA’s. We appreciate each and every one of you.

I am the court appointed guardian for my sister, who has resided at Riverwood HRC for the past several years, suffering from dementia. I picked this Riverwood facility because it is highly rated & my initial inspection revealed an impressive operation. After my sister moved in, I have become even more impressed with the level of care provided on a daily basis. The Riverwood staff calls me often to report on my sister & report any new developments or challenges. The Executive Director sends out regular updates on important issues, such as Covid cases & visiting arrangements. All staff at every level are professional, caring, & extremely friendly.

Five stars for the helpful, caring people there! My husband spent his last days there and I have nothing but good things to say about the administration the nurses, the CNAs, the therapy people, the social workers, and the custodians...oh, and the kitchen staff!

My aunt is there for rehab, and she is elderly, she is also in great health usually. The staff are friendly and taking excellent care of her. She is sharing a room however with someone who likes it really cold. I know it can’t always be helped and she does have extra blankets. Other than that, I thought it was a great place.
