Riverwalk Post Acute and Rehabilitation

Good walk, very easy and flat. Nice stops if your hungreay. The walk is safe and freinly. Alough there is mutipul smokers. This walk is a great walk to exercise. Exactly one mile. Only sad part is that the river is very dirty and you offten see LG in the water.

My mom was there until January 11th 2021 when she passed away. Never did we get any calls from any doctor or nurse updating us as to what was going on with her or even how she was doing. We couldn't even visit because of covid. When we got there after she had passed away and picked up her stuff there was things missing including her cell phone which she was on my phone plan. Come to find out when we checked the last time was used was somewhere in pureto Rico by someone who we didn't know and we knew my mom didn't know anyone in pureto Rico. The pajamas I got her for Christmas was missing as well. Sorry but this place is not the best place. Last time I called before she passed away they said she was fine. But later that Monday morning is when we got the call she had passed away. They never even called my dad to let him know how she was doing before she passed. Said he had took stuff to her but not sure if she ever got it.

Modest but very spacious rooms. Sometimes the food is outstanding & sometimes it's only fair. But overall not too bad for institutional food. Good therapists, & the majority of the nurses & other employees also quite good. If you're needing a restart due to accident or illness I recommend this facility.

Elder abuse is a rising problem and apparently it's alive and is a reality at this facility. A recent incident that happened with a CNA and my grandfather will NOT go unaddressed. Not to mention, the many times I've gone to see my grandpa and I watched as the staff sat around and let the patient alarms go on and on and on, unanswered. UNACCEPTABLE! This facility is not even deserving of 1 star. Do NOT send your loved ones here.

It wasn’t bad except it was no where near the river, don’t go there expect to think your loved one or you is going to be somewhere nice because it’s nowhere like the pictures show on the website. Very misleading. My dad heard gun shots multiple times

I had a difficult knee replacement and needed extended rehabilitation. I was a pain in the butt when I got there. The staff was very understanding and comforting. When I left I was sad to leave. The care I got was so much better than I expected. Paul Barnett.

This is a beautiful place. It has a nice variety of restaurants and a cool 20 minute boat tour.
