My Mom, Tonya Rush, was not in Hospice for long. River Valley staff were amazing! The nurse, Jen, and CNA Arlene made the process painless. They had things in place immediately. Nurse Judy was so kind when it came time to care for Mom upon her passing. Also, Cindy, our social worker, she worked with us throughout providing a lot of information. I can not say their praises enough. They are fantastic to work with!! Right now we are working with the Aftercare program. Such great information for end of life. Thank you River Vally!! Never stop being fantastic!!

This has been a really great healing experience. The knowledge, expertise, and compassion shown by the therapists and nurses was amazing. Not only did the services improve my well being, I felt that I gained new valuable friends. Thanks, River Valley!

River Valley provided ongoing care for my mom facing numerous ailments in the sunset of her life. Her nurse Kaisu and CeCe were always so pleasant and knowledgeable on health issues. Jessica, her memory specialist, was a bright positive burst of energy that seems to make my moms memory stronger. This is an extremely well run operation for those dealing with an aging parent. Highly recommend.

River Valley Home Health Care services and staff are the best. They took care of my mom for about 4 months before she passed on 8-8-23. They were very compassionate and understanding to my mom's needs and mine as well. Jen her nurse I liked very much. She is very knowledgeable with what she does. She handled everything for us and took care of my mom with the upmost respect. Arlene her bather took care of my mom's hygiene and was very gentle with her. When my children and I returned to Lake Havasu from Yuma with my husband, Jimmy Lee Alewine. The care Jimmy received from River Valley Home Health and Hospice, was amazing. Our Daughter, Angela returned a day earlier to meet with Hospice and get Jim’s bed set up. The doctors explained to me three times, Jim would not survive the trip. Not only did he survive the trip, Jim watched his NHRA drag races for 4 hours with our son, daughter and myself. Around 3:30 am the morning of March 16, I dozed off and when I woke up at about 4 am my Big Jim was gone. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not let Jim wake me before he went Home. When Jim needed anything he would get my attention and motion for he wanted. Except when our Lord took him Home I was not awakened. Jimmy, Jr. brought his Father home with me. I’m forever thankful for Our Lord, Angela and Jimmy, Jr. Thank you, Jesus!

All of our team members at River Valley were wonderful to work with. Judy and Arlene took amazing care of our Mom. They were kind and gentle and extremely patient during our most challenging times. Chaplain Kathy helped lift our spirits at the very end and sent Mom off with reassuring words and prayer. Beth, our social worker, helped us understand our thoughts and feelings without judgement. We could not have asked for a better team to surround Mom with care and comfort. I would highly recommend River Valley to anyone in search of hospice care.
