River Valley Home Health and Hospice

River Valley did an excellent job of taking care of our dad! They are very easy to work with, took care of all of the details during hospice and after his death. They truly made this situation easier so that we could focus spending time with our dad. Nursing and support staff were great in not only care but communication of every detail of his care, medications, schedule and when they would be out. My dad was kind of hard to deal with and he didn't have a problem with any of there staff (which was a relief also). We highly recommend this organization and will use them again if the need arises.

I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at River Valley Hospice, and most importantly to Amanda (the nurse) for the exceptional experience I had over the several months my father was under their care. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Elizabeth with the After Care Program for her invaluable support after my dad's passing. My initial knowledge of River Valley Hospice was through word-of-mouth and I had heard great things, but the reality far exceeded my expectations. Towards the last few months of my dad's life, he was in a fragile state and I had the privilege of being by his side daily. Throughout this emotional and challenging time, I had the opportunity to interact with various members of the River Valley Hospice team (mainly with Amanda, Amy and Kana) and their kindness, respect, remarkable competence, and exceptional communication skills left a lasting impression. They were not only attentive to my dad's needs but also provided unwavering support to all of us in his family. I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care that River Valley provided, which undoubtedly represents the pinnacle of hospice care. My sincere well wishes and appreciation go out to all the dedicated individuals at River Valley Hospice Care. May you continue to thrive and make a positive difference in the lives of those you touch.

River Valley Home Health and Hospice was wonderful! They treated us with respect, care, and dignity. They were patient to listen to our questions and stories. They have helped with everything from knowing how to care for my husband at the end of life to the paperwork that felt overwhelming and difficult. I cannot thank them enough.

I highly recommend river valley home and health ! This has been the hardest thing I’ve gone through in my life with my mother being diagnosed as terminal and I was so overwhelmed and didn’t know where to begin and Lila talked to me and walked me through everything! She’s been wonderful since day one. She’s calmed me down and held my hand through this all <3 I couldn’t have started this whole process without Lila . Then I was put in touch with Berto and he is such an amazing gentlemen he’s made so much happen for my mother to help her I am so grateful for him and his determination on getting my moms needs met . Then we me Joan who is my moms nurse and she is one of the kindest nurses I’ve ever met, truly she has a heart of gold . All the staff members have been incredibly kind through this and I’ll forever be grateful for these angels that have been put in our path during this journey ! Thank you river valley home and health for all that you do for the families and patients in the community!

All staff members were compassionate and professional and helped all of our family through our transition, we appreciated all they did for us.
