I have been here just under 2 years. In that time I have nothing but praises to give. Food is good (I have had much worse at other places); very nice nursing staff and front desk staff. Activity staff is awesome, they provide us with lots of things to do - from Bingo to Jeopardy to ice cream socials and movies. Wonderful place to come to get better.

I have been working here for a little over 1month.The managment team is easy to work with and are always welcoming and eager to help. There is a lot of support from the ENTIRE team whether it is the therapy team, nursing team and even management. You will never struggle here. There is plenty of opportunities for growth and they are willing to help you succeed. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. Their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled. The team is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, it is a delight to work with them.

Am currently a patient at Rio Vista. This is my 3rd time coming back to get physical therapy that staff is very caring, they listen to you they take care of all my needs. The staff is very friendly. They have the best therapy staff. The food is delicious. I recommend this facility 100%.

My stay lasted almost 10 weeks. The staff was excellent, caring, attentive, and answered call lights quickly. I will return to this facility again. The therapy department is fantastic with new gym. They also have an excellent wound care team. The food could certainly be better.

My mom was there for a broken hip. I found the administrative staff to the therapudical staff was fantastic! Dotti and Jason were her therapists and they were very compassionate and knowledgeable in what they were doing. According to mom, even the meals were great which sure helps in keeping a positive attitude towards recovery. Anyone giving less than 5 stars is just a whiner, they're outstanding. Because of Rio, she's well on her way back to normal living again

My mom was sent here after surgery in 2022 for about a month and a half. Every staff member that I spoke to were all very helpful, patient and friendly. My mom felt very comfortable there her entire stay. They had different activities and events for the patients and families, this really helped my mom get out of her room and not feel so lonely when we couldn't make it. Their food as you can imagine wasn't the best but edible with a little extra salt. Till this day my mom keeps in touch with one of the caregivers there (Juanita). I will 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe place for themselves or a loved one. The pictures show a shared room with 2 beds that my mom was put in when she first arrived to quarantine for a week, then she was put into a private room which was definitely better. I also included a picture of their front patio area. Thank you all for the amazing care you gave my mom!

After 5 years with me, my sweet aunt came here after emergency surgery at the beginning of this year. I had surgery two months later and after healing, I tried to bring her home. Both of our health had declined and she ASKED to come back to Rio Vista after two days. They welcomed her back immediately. The staff are some of the most caring, amazing people I've ever met. Olga and Morgan and the other nurse's aides took care of her and were great with communication. If there was anything that I needed I could call and speak to Darlene or Dawn and everything was taken care of. I was welcome to come and help care for her every few days. Their hospitality was so appreciated! She passed away on June 1st after being placed on hospice a few days prior. I am glad that we had such loving support throughout this last year. This home is clean and has a nice, home feel to it and that made such a difference of us. Thank you so much, Rio Vista.

Needing a skilled nursing a facility for my mother post hip replacement, then immediate fall, we chose Rio Vista based on the reviews. UNFORTUNATELY, I was unable to visit prior to making this decision. I would like to recommend DEFINITELY that you visit this establishment first. The entire floor where the patients are located smells like urine and feces at almost all times. There is a lot of workers present, however the answer you will receive when your loved one cannot get assistance expeditiously, is "they are short staffed." My mother had to use the chair in the room as a walking devise to get herself to the restroom, because she could not get assistance regularly. Keep in mind she was there because of a fall "POST HIP REPLACEMENT!" After several times of witnessing my mother lay in bed with soiled diapers and no body to change them, I decided to move her out ASAP. This was the best decision, thankfully she is in a clean environment minus the horrible smells and getting fantastic care! I would also like to advise you to pay attention to the paperwork. Having cognitive deficits, my mother was not able to sign any paperwork for herself. RIO VISTA was advised of this on several occasions. They do not seem to have safeguards in place to avoid this from happening. My mother actually signed herself out of this place upon her departure, amazingly she has NO IDEA WHAT SHE SIGNED FOR!!!!! Thank goodness she is doing MUCH better now that she is getting the therapy and proper care needed!
