Deadbeat client; doesn't pay bills. I wonder how that must affect patient care. If they're unwilling to pay temp staff are they bouncing payroll checks too? Concerning; I'd be very cautious.

So after almost a month of dealing with this place I've had some really good experiences with some very caring & loving nurses, heads of department's. Also some very concerning, scary & just neglectfullness stuff has happened but once my loved one went down hill because her oxygen levels were raised by attendants inside the facility she has now returned even worse. We were told she would die without oxygen yet after her sponge bath the nurse placed her line that goes up her nose on the oxygen machine where my family member cannot reach. Also her call button was no where in sight because it was after her sponge bath. The nurse lied & blamed my aunt!!! That alone is super scary. Or telling family to close the door when moving the family member who is too weak to move on her own yet they are forceful telling her to move for them & being aggressive when she cannot. Unfortunately Allison the administrator makes excuses like most of her staff. While making a complaint i am talked over so she can ask her coworker if he's headed out & to have a good day, letting me know it just doesnt matter because nothing will be done with all the excuses made & neglect brushed under the rug. Pray for your loved ones & go check on them if in this facility. Unfortunately there are people who are there because it is just a job & its money to them. I do not appreciate the concern I have for my loved one to be brushed away, ignored, or excuses to be made instead of calling a meeting, speaking to your staff, implementation of new techniques or just get some people who actually care in there PLEASE FOR OUR LOVED ONES SAKE!!!! The staff makes sure to protect themselves & fellow employees by acting as if there is no higher up & will not give any info to help your loved one live comfortable till the end. To everyone who shows the love & care thank you very much!!! You're appreciated more than you know.

I have just returned home from staying at this rehab facility. It is now known as Mountain View Post Acute Center. If you want the very best care possible provided by a professional, caring staff, look no further. They were just recently inspected/reviewed by the State of California, and they got 5 stars out of 5. I spent three months at this rehab facility recouping from a fractured neck. The first 6 days of my rehab I was at a Rancho Cucamonga rehab facility, and the care left a lot to be desired. I basically was ignored during my stay in Rancho Cucamonga. I was so thankful that I was moved after 6 days to Mountain View Post Acute in Barstow. The staff at MVPA basically saved my life with their care. Henry Stuppy, Silver Lakes (Helendale) resident

DO NOT HAVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS GO HERE! lack of care, medication,and contact to staff for help. I was lied to several times of care and procedures, in the best interest of my family member. If he had the care needed, and medication, required, there would not be issues. No one will help and then belittled by staff when confronted with questions of care. Staff actually walk away from you when asking for help. Clothes go missing once brought to facility. Pain medication not given ordered from one's doctor as well as preventive care to help with safety yet calls of complaints if an issue, when they won't follow prevention of a situation. No administrative help, whatsoever, except to kick out your loved one; staff is rude, except for 2 people. They hang up on you or don't answer the phone. Neglect is an issue and "it's not my job" is heard alot.

I was a resident here recently for a sprained ankle. I received physical therapy on my ankle, and I must say that the physical therapy staff as well as the nurses and the other staff members were so sweet and caring. They made you feel like you were family. I was very pleased with the care that I received during this time. I had great nurses. I don’t want to name any names because I might forget to mention someone, but I was blessed to have great CNA’s and nurses that truly cared about my recovery. Thank you Rimrock

My late mother stayed here for 2 weeks while she recovered from a fall. We were finally able to take her home but her stay here was very comfortable. She had a semi private room with a big window and since getting to the dining room was difficult for her she was able to stay in her room. She had physical therapy and recovered very well. Everyone here was so nice and attentive and I would recommend them to anyone who has a family member in this situation.

My mother was there for 6 weeks, from the administration staff, the nurses, the CNA's especially Michelle, and the therapists were all great. Great attitudes and great people working at this facility. Will 1000% use them again if the time comes. Thank You Rimrock for helping my mother get back on her feet.

They did a terrific job keeping my mom clean and her surroundings. She always had a smile on her face when I came to see her. The nurses and staff were so good to our family, as well as, my mom. I would like for them to be a little more mindful of bed sores, and by that, I mean keeping a pillow underneath. It would be nice if they would allow beauticians to come and do residents hair, by simply allowing them to show their California license. All in all a great experience. The therapist were awesome, so patient and informative. Thank you for doing a super job!
