Very nice facility my mother receives compassionate care from the staff here at Richmond Post Acute administrator was very helpful when it was time for my mom to discharge back home in the community. He did a a lot of accommodations to our apartment and to make mom discharge be successful in her own living environment she was paralyzed from a recent stroke that time she finish recovering in the facility. She was able to walk on her own with no assistance hats off to the Therapy team for a damn good job. Keep up the good work.

If I could give them a zero star I would. Don't let their talks about God fool y'all. The staff at this location only practice Christian like behaviors when it benefits them. They denied my mother care because of what Alta Bates Hospital had to say about us. I was in that hospital fighting for my mothers life every single. This was during the pandemic. When saving a life was not important. Especially, a black life. And when it was time to place my mother they told lies. And you guys believe it and denied my mother the best care she could've gotten. And let me tell y'all how I know the denial part is true. Not to long after their denial her. My sister and I moved my mother to another hospital, because we loss all faith in Alta Bates. And when the new hospital reached out to them. They accepted my mother. And when the person we dealt with us came back from vacation and figure out who we were. They denied us again. Now tell me is that Christ like behavior? And if anyone thinks that it is. Go take a deep long look in the mirror. And understand if we are all able to live as long as my mother has. Remember we will all end up in that same place. The hospital. Dealing with unequal treatments. From people who may or may not care about you or you life. And if so. I hope you have someone like me and my family there by your side. Fighting for every single breath you take. To extend your life for as long as you're willing to be here. No one should have experience this type of treatment. When all they were doing was protecting their loved ones. If Hell is a real place. I hope the staff this location has ice water. They're going to need it.

When finding Richmond Post Acute Care for my mother during the pandemic was a tough time as mother was in critical condition/coma. After she woke up finding a place that specializes in wound care was difficult as very few places were open in San Francisco at the time. RPAC helped her from 2020-2021 with pt/ot and her overall recovery. I'm very thank for the staff that helped her with her general needs and being kind. I would like to thank Jim Jordan and Kimberly for helping for her stay. -DG

When my mom first arrived she couldn’t speak, lift her head for long, swallow anything other than puréed foods, stand, nor communicate what was wrong with her. When CNA Martha cleaned her up as if she were her mother, and Dustin made sure she had food she could eat - I knew she was where she needed to be. Within two weeks of my mom being there she was eating better, had less confusion, had her physical and speech therapy evaluation, occupational therapy sessions, saw an eye doctor, as well as began activities. The activity director Deborah was amazing coordinating manicures, gardening, bingo, parties, and holiday events. The facility never wreaked of smells, but was always clean, and they were always finding ways to remodel and make the place to feel more at home. Now my mother looks like life has returned to her! She still cannot walk, but she can stand for short periods of time, she can help us to transfer herself to the bathroom, she can feed herself, she can brush her hair, she can wash her face. They didn’t just help her, they gave her her life, and dignity back! It’s only been a week and she told me yesterday, I may have to go to the AA meetings up there because I miss everyone! Lol I told her, you don’t need to attend anything just to go and say hi! We can do that anytime! We didn’t’ just meet people here, we made family here! Jim - as I write this tears fill my eyes. I am SO thankful to God for your work! I am thankful for your spirit, and for showing up as your true authentic self! To ALL of the staff of Richmond Post Acute - You are all SO valued! You are all SO amazing! I pray you know just how much of an impact you have on the lives you touch! I pray that favor falls upon you. From the peace within my spirit - vibrant love and gratitude to you all!

To Richmond Post Acute, I would like to personally tell all who read this review that Post Acute isn't just a place of care but a real family for me ;a powerful force who had my BEST interest at heart. I arrived at Post Acute on my back and unable to care for myself, however every person l met once becoming a patient, was kind ,caring, and giving; allowing me to leave on my feet. As far as staff goes, l would like to say that the battering-ram known as Kimberly, along with Jim Jordan and Bill Jordan , fought to accomplish all the needs of this patient . All of this had happened between 2020-21 during the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine; which was one of themost chaotic timesin recent memory. I want to also mention and thank all of the staff in each department, the Head of nursing, the Nurses, OT and PT ,Social Dept Tamika, Social Environmental Sandra. I must also say " thank you" to Post Acute for allowing me to continue taking part in giving what l can, and to keep in contact with patient growth and development. Post Acute has been a true blessing; and has become an extended part of my family. Cara Warmsley-AKA Mama True

The staff and management at Richmond Post-Acute are 100% professional the care they show for their clients is above reproch. I've had a three week stay here after two major operations with three wounds covered with a wound-vac system that needs to be changed every four days has been managed by a wound nurse who can't be beat i also have another wound needing daily dressing change and the process has been so professionally managed the the pain level of the process has been reduced from a 9 on the scale to a 2 or e . I highly recommend Richmond Post-Acute to all patients or family members who who may need a high level of care.they will take care of all your needs . Thank you James for your concern and care
