There is no one out there better to help you if you're suffering from TMJ related issues. I went from doctor to doctor. Dentist to dentist and no one could diagnose me or acknowledge the true level of pain I was experiencing. I finally found Liana and she made me feel seen and heard and immediately identified my issues and we got to work. She is highly knowledgeable and compassionate. She is also realistic and treats her patients like human beings. If you are in jaw pain and feel like there's no way out, please know that Revive PT will help you find the light at the end of the tunnel.

At 69 years of age, I decided to have my tongue tie released based upon a recommendation from my dentist. The short story is that it was very successful and I am very happy to have had it done. I should have done it many years ago. Importantly, Dr. Liana Sved was instrumental in making it a success. That’s the short story. If you would like more detail, please read on. The oral surgeon would not proceed unless I had the okay from specifically, “The Jaw Pain Doc” Liana Sved. Dr. Sved recommended physical therapy (PT) few weeks before and after the release. My initial thoughts were, “How many exercises can a tongue do?” and “Doesn’t somebody have a pair of scissors or maybe a laser?” Well, I got a good education. There are 18 muscles in the tongue and some of mine had never been used because they had nowhere to stretch to. Dr. Sved showed me how to get them all working again. Here are a few of the things I can now do with a tongue that’s firing on all 18 cylinders: 1) make a bowl shape that can actually hold water, 2) reach my back teeth with the tip of my tongue, 3) stick my tongue out of my mouth, 4) curl my tongue into the shape of a taco! There are several others. What’s the benefit of all that? Here is how my life has changed. 1) It is much easier to speak, 2) My sleep apnea has almost gone away. I don’t use a CPAP. 3) It is much easier to control foods while in my mouth. I have not choked on a bolus since the release. I used to occasionally choke on food while eating. 4) My jaw is less tense. 5) My tongue is in better physical condition than the rest of me. 6) This might sound weird, but my tongue is nice and clean now. I always had to scrub and scrape to keep my tongue clean. Now? I still give it a quick brush while doing my teeth. It just seems to stay so much cleaner. The surgeon did nice work. However, I noticed the surgeon wanted to have Liana Sved approve each step in the process. It was Liana that orchestrated the process. Liana Sved is top shelf and I recommend her for any jaw pain issues. Happy tongue exercises!

Best decision I have ever made for my health. After years of teeth clenching, grinding, snoring, neck pain and debilitating headaches- I had seen countless specialists and spent thousands of dollars on "TMJ specialist dentists", botox, ENT's, Chiropractors, massage therapists etc. I was told that I would either have to be on anti psychotics for my headaches, get continuous botox ($1400 a session), get my bite adjusted continuously ($1200 a session) or just live like that. Within minutes of our first visit, Liana identified a life long tongue tie and has supported me immensely the last few months through my tongue tie release. My symptoms have greatly improved under her care and she is the most knowledgeable, supportive and insightful medical professional I have ever met. She encouraged me to get a second opinion on an ENT for an airway issue and lo and behold, I have a severe airway issue that I am getting surgery for. While most of the medical industry gas lighted me through my pain process, Liana never once did. She encouraged me to continue to advocate for myself to get the help I needed. After spending spending thousands on failed treatment, I was hesitant to spend more money out of pocket on a treatment plan with Liana. Now looking back, it was the best investment in my health I have ever made. If you are living in chronic pain and worried about spending more money on treatment, I can let you know that Liana's care is worth every penny. The cost of Liana's care is extremely affordable for the care you receive. If you have any neck, head or jaw pain, Liana is the best person to go to. Hands down. Before meeting Liana, I traveled to Boston, New York and CT for care, not even realizing Liana was able to be virtual and she is local to me.

Working with Dr Liana was a game changer for me. I suffered jaw, head and neck pain for years and had tried everything (chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, night guards, etc), well what I thought was everything. Three months of PT and a lingual frenectomy have made all the difference. I feel better than I have in years. Dr. Liana is knowledgeable, thorough and so helpful.

I am so happy that I found Liana! My jaw started “popping” about 20 years ago. I brought it up to dentists and doctors and the advice was to take smaller bites when eating or sleep with a mouth guard but those things didn’t really address the problem. I found Liana through a Reel where she mentioned jaw popping and how physical therapy can mitigate the problem. Liana put together a plan with daily exercises and progress checks. The exercises were easy to fit into my schedule (most routines took about 10 minutes a day). Although my jaw still pops, it happens less often. I am very pleased with the decreased popping but mostly relieved to understand what the causes could be and what exercises will mitigate the issue.

We knew our son needed braces and so upon starting that process we were told he also had a hyper mobile jaw. They said, you should really get him some physical therapy. Liana came highly recommended by several people in the community as well as other professionals. We are very grateful to be able to work with her. She is kind and works well with our son. At our first visit she discovered that he was tongue tied and mentioned all the other factors the and orthodontist told us. It gave me a lot of confidence that we were working with a profession that knew what she was looking at! It was like conformation that we were on the right track. Liana's process is working great for him and we are expecting the best outcome from working with her! I would recommend her for anyone.

Dr Liana Sved is an extremely talented physical therapy professional. Over a year ago, my bite went out of alignment and I was referred to Dr Sved. From our first appointment, Dr Sved correctly assessed the individual therapy required to remedy my situation, and she provided me with specific exercises designed to reverse my imbalance. Her approach is carefully tailored to each individual, and her subject matter expertise is impressive. After being so uncomfortable for over a year before working with Dr Sved, she has successfully corrected my situation, and I could not be more pleased with the overall experience of working with Dr Sved. I would highly recommend Dr Sved for anyone suffering from jaw discomfort.

Dr. Liana Sved is a miracle worker! I had upper and lower jaw surgery years ago and had a lot of muscle loss and tension over the last few years. The treatment plan that she constructed was easy to follow exercises for strength building and stretches. She has an app that allows for easy following/tracking and videos to review the exercises at home if you forget. She also offers dry needing which helped way more than I could have ever imagined. I have had over a 90% improvement over a few short months. Her office space is clean and welcoming. 5/5 Highly Recommend.
