Having had 4 sports-related knee surgeries and multiple ligament tears, I am no stranger to PT. In my countless experiences, Angela stands out as the top PT I have ever seen. The difference is stark - Angela really takes the time to understand your personal goals and makes the PT work with your schedule, your abilities, and your timeline. She doesn't just list exercises and send you on your way - in your sessions with her, she will work with you to find the exercises that will be most effective for you and help you understand the key points for each one. Many are sport-specific or movement specific, so that you aren't just on some generic post-injury or post-surgery rehab program. She uses really great tools so you have a summary and videos of exercises for later reference, as well as videos of sessions so you can look at your own form. She is also very responsive, and when you work with her, the sessions are always one on one and focused on you. When I started seeing her, I had a goal of getting back to high level play in about 8-10 weeks. Angela helped pinpoint the specifics of my goal, taking the time to let me know what to expect, how to measure progress, and what the focus would be throughout. This was helpful to keep me motivated - always difficult when PT can feel boring and hard and you just want to get back on the field! With her guidance, I was able to return to play in the time frame I wanted, and many of the things we worked on continue to be relevant and helpful. If you need help recovering from an injury or surgery, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Angela!

Angela is amazing! I came to Angela with a shoulder issue that had been lingering for over a year. She was extremely attentive in our first session and was quickly able to diagnosis the source of the issue. Within a few weeks of seeing her and doing the mobility and strength exercises she carefully selected, I was pain free. She continued to reassess my goals throughout the 6 weeks and made sure that I was not only pain free, but also able to do the sports and activities that I love. I would definitely recommend Angela to any athletes looking to recover from injuries!

I came to Angela for knee and heel pain from running and hiking. After completing six sessions, I've seen steady improvement throughout the process. I really appreciate how Angela always addressed my questions and concerns whenever I brought something up, and how she clearly explained the goal of each session so I understood the purpose behind the exercises she prescribed. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Angela to achieve more athletic goals.

I started seeing Dr. Angela last year after a medial meniscus tear when she was working at a different practice. She’s so amazing, it was no question to follow her when she opened her new practice with RePhysio. When I first came to see her, I limped in with a swollen knee and discouraged mindset. Dr. Angela helped to address my meniscus tear, which gives me very little issues now! I can deep squat to my heart’s desire and have even gradually returned to painless breast strokes in the pool, and increasing intensity of hiking. While my meniscus injury is now under control, I have continued to work with her to address deeper musculoskeletal issues stemming from years of hip dysfunction which contributed to my knee injury. This continued work has been exciting, giving me hope to return to activities like backpacking and other heavier impact activities. Each visit she builds a plan with you to target your issue using both mobility and strength based exercises with a holistic approach, looking at how you move your whole body to determine how to best adress your issue. She also incorporates targeted soft tissue work that pairs very well with the exercises. She uses a very easy to navigate online patient exercise library that she often customizesas well as additional customized exercises not in the library to the treatment plan. Whenever I have set backs Dr. Angela lends a caring ear and gently encourages me to keep moving towards my goals. The gym space her office is nestled in is clean, quiet, and equipped with everything needed to review the exercise regimen. There’s always plenty of parking out front and it’s a bonus that the gym is right off the freeway, coming from San Francisco. I’m so glad to have met Dr. Angela! I know that I’ll keep coming back for tune ups or if I have other injuries. Her focused attention, deep knowledge of body mechanics, and genuine desire and commitment for you to return to the activities you love to do has been really inspiring, as a healthcare provider myself. If you’re looking for a truly customized PT experience with an athletic focus, that gets you the results you’re looking for, I can’t recommend Dr. Angela enough!

Dr. Angela has been helping me rehab a shoulder injury that I had been in PT for several months other places with slow progress. As a competitive athlete with a summer of competitions she has evaluated my injury and how it impacts my daily and sport life. Dr. Angela looked at my competition schedule to optimize for getting back the most important motions for my sport at key times. The sessions are incredibly personal and everything in my treatment plan feels intentional, not just generic shoulder strengthening exercise. The gym and treatment room are great spaces clean and well stocked with every type of equipment!

I came to Angela after two years of calf and ankle issues. I had seen two other PTs for the same issue but none were quite sure of the source of my calf pain and ankle stability issues. Within 5 minutes, Angela diagnosed the problem and after 6 sessions, I'm feeling better than I have in years. I can sprint without pain but also move through my day feeling more stable and coordinated in my body. Getting a full hour of her attention, problem solving, manual therapy, and general planning for how to reach your goals has been worth every penny!

I saw Angela twice for pain in my right knee. I’ve played competitive ultimate frisbee for over 20 years and have typically been able to identify and rehab the injuries I get. This injury was different - I got pain/stiffness when I ran and muscular instability when I jumped. I couldn’t run or train my legs at all. In our first session, Angela very quickly diagnosed me with meniscus irritation and gave me a great set of exercises, including some customized for me, to get me back on the field. The main focus was strength and stability. 3 weeks later I returned feeling stronger and Angela had prepared an entirely new set of exercises for me that were very sports-movement specific. I’m now about two months since my injury and got on the field again for the first time last Thursday; I had no setbacks! Angela did a great job guiding my recovery - she is very knowledgeable and clearly puts a lot of time and effort into her work. Plus she was able to see me within a week, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend her! Thank you, Angela! - Andrew

Strongly recommend re.PHYSIO! I've been going to Dr. Angela for a few years now and she always helps get me back to the activities I was doing before injuries. This place is my go-to for physical therapy. I had hurt my lower back dead lifting in January 2024 that prevented me from strength training. Within a few months after starting physical therapy with Dr. Angela Aie, I built my way back to dead lifting and gained a ton of knowledge along the way. Dr. Angela went above and beyond to help me understand what the underlying issue was and what the plan was to correct it. Dr. Angela also provided homework and exercises in between sessions. Dr. Angela is attentive and very knowledgeable, it was great to have her as a resource as I navigated the ups and downs of recovery. I've incorporated the exercises she has recommended into daily mobility routines. I love how re.PHYSIO structures the hour long appointments to be fully with the physical therapist. There's education, mobility testing, sometimes soft tissue mobilization, and then a run through of prescribed exercises. I had tried chiropractic in the past, but I find re.PHYSIO much more helpful and effective. re.PHYSIO is also in a top notch gym with a ton of helpful equipment. Scheduling is also very easy with the app! re.PHYSIO is in my speed dial and should be in yours too.
