I have lived within two blocks of Renown Rehabitation Hospital for ten years During that time I have visited two friends both of which had strokes. Pre-Covid one would walk by their "P.T." room. Looking in I could see every conceivable gym, floor & mobility machines for patient use. Nice & clean, as everything has a sort of shine to it. Of course, my friend & I would raid the ice cream & such in the meal room. Now that alone probably got at least one of my patient friends on his feet & mobile a couple days early! Lots of outdoor space spiit half for parking & the other for well kept lawns with picnic tables & benches. I imagine it is used for neediest of post trauma or illness call. All in all, a very nice facility!🌹 erable

My husband has been at Renown rehab 4 different times in the last 4 years. He has a chronic illness that results in different orthopedic surgeries. This is by far the best rehab in Reno. The staff is amazing. My husband always does well here and loves the doctor, nurses, PT and OT. It is clean and has wonderful equipment. He always comes out stronger and more independent. Thank you Renown Rehab. We are very appreciative of y'all!

I've had great experiences getting epidurals by Dr. Keating here. I'd like to give a special thanks to my nurse Jodi Eldridge and Trish O. and their immediate team that my day.

Don't ever let your loved ones go here. Go to St. Mary's!! Just about every time I've talked to my dad, he's tried to call for a nurse with no response!! If he could do things on his own he wouldn't be in the rehab center. This facility is complete garbage!

Such a caring staff!! My dad’s team of therapists, doctors, nurses and CNA’s were thoughtful and attentive. So grateful for their care!!

I was admitted here after suffering a horrific car accident which shattered my pelvis, fractured my neck, collapsed my lung, and a brain bleed. I couldn’t feel a lot in my legs and was in a neck brace, back brace, and in a wheelchair. After spending weeks at the main Renown Hospital, I was anxious and nervous about coming here. They immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed, they even changed my mattress FOUR times until I was comfortable. Laura, the physical therapist, absolutely changed my life. I did not think I would walk by New Years. I would give up and she would pull me back, give me hope, and push me. All the doctors and therapists are amazing and I don’t know if I’d be walking today if it weren’t for going here.

My mother is in this Renown facility after breaking her hip. Not even addressing her care, it is impossible to get ahold of her. I live out of state and the phone service in this place is unbelievably poor. The person who connects the calls, the operators, the nurses station and the phone in her room don't answer the phones. I've called in excess of 15 times and spoken with her twice. Pitiful

This isn't the best place to be for treatment. If you have a choice pick somewhere else. Most of the staff don't listen to the patient or even family members that pays the bill. My son had what is called a double whammy synonym TBI. All the staff there are not property trained to deal with that kind of injury. When the doctor talk with patients or even family members they need to speak in layman's terms not like a medical staff. Nurses need to communicated to the patient what they are doing and why. No matter how many times it takes. For someone to understand what is going on. Doctor just because you have a degree in the medical field doesn't mean you know everything, sometime you need to listen to the patient or the family members. This facility isn't for double whammy synonym. It is for strokes, spinal, orthopedic, neurological injuries. For the whole time my son was in there I would say only to the end did staff members finally listen.I had to remind them I'm paying the bill not my son. Just do your research more and pick another place where you will get the best service that you you will need. I hate to even give them 1 star.
