Rehab Select at Barfield Health Care

I am so grateful to the Barfield staff for the love and care they gave to my Mother and our family over the 18 months that she was there. They were unfailingly helpful as we went through a trying and unknown experience, and that made a world of difference for all of us. I want to thank all of them for everything they did on her behalf, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in need of their services. Thank you so much!

I recommend Barfield for the five-star team they have assembled here in Guntersville! These are some of the kindest and most hardworking individuals we've encountered during our two-month journey (3rd rehab facility). Sharing my gratitude for each and every person we encountered and observed caring for others with compassion.

The administrator Kylie Coker is awful even though she puts on a good front. She hides resident abuse in the facility by making employees reword their incident reports or she writes them for them and will tell them they will be terminated if they don't sign what she wants it to say. If you refuse to change what was said because it is the truth her and Julia Kellie, RN DON will corner you bully you and make sure they make you miserable for being a patient advocate and actually standing against abuse. Chris Schmidt should be ashamed at what Kylie and her buddies hide in this facility including dosing chronic pain people with narcan and them kept in facility to hid that nurses don't make sure patients take their med. There is no consequences for their buddies that you show are not giving medication to residents they will get rid of you for knowing it and keep the nurse that has multiple med errors and don't get off their butts to even give meds.

They take great care of the residents! It's super clean, homely, and the staff are all so nice and highly trained!

My best friend works here as a CNA and she loves her residents, and I know that as long as she works here the residents will be treated with respect and love.

Super caring staff that go above and beyond each and everyday!

They allowed a fire in a room and never reported it and left the patient in the room while they put it out.
