Rehab Plus Physical Therapy-Dr. Robert P. Runkel PT, MS, DPT

Started going to therapy here for my back. Even before my appointment, taking with Mary at the reception desk was amazing. She was understanding and so very nice to speak with. Met with Dr. Runkel at my first visit and he was so nice and supportive of the issues with my back. Having experienced the same thing himself. It was so amazing to talk with him. He understood all my concerns. That’s so refreshing to have someone listen to you. The assistant therapist Craig was also amazing and understanding and constant was checking on my well being. I will be back after my surgery for therapy. I recommend this place above the others. I was happy with them from the first phone call. 😊

I have been going to Rehab plus for many different types of therapies. My most recent visits have been for aqua therapy for a herniated disc. I received excellent care and had a very professional staff. Of all the therapies I have had, this by far was the best! I was able to find a lot of relief by water exercise, stretching, the underwater tread mill and the powerful jets. I highly recommend Dr Runkel and his staff for any therapy needs!

I had my knee replaced in October. When it was time for rehab, NOT ONE rehabilitation facility in the Steubenville/Wintersville area would accept my insurance, nor CASH. I was devastated. I thought I’d never walk right again. When I called Rehab Plus, I spoke with Mary, who was so very nice, and she told me they would take care of me. Needless to say, she was true to her word. My therapist was Annie, who was fantastic. Very caring, professional and supportive. Craig was her backup and did a great job. I am back to normal thanks to them. I would recommend Rehab Plus to anyone/everyone in need of therapy. Wonderful people. 5 stars is not high enough. Thank you so much Mary, Annie and staff for all you did for me. God bless you!

Dr. Rob and team knew just what to do to treat my bursitis of my shoulders and elbows! Went from limited mobility and pain to restored full range of motion. Fantastic team of professionals who take the time to ensure you are cared for and comfortable!

I have had two knee surgeries, a hip surgery and several back issues that no one could correctly diagnose until Rehab Plus. Dr. Runkel and staff worked wonders every time. I actually have my life back, working out, hiking, etc, thanks to Rehab Plus.

My husband did therapy here and the staff was great. I did therapy on my ankle after surgery and everything went great. Recently I did aqua therapy for my lower back. I would highly recommend this place. The staff Mary Rob Craig and Kathy are friendly and professional. They all ask about how things are going . Craig and Rob explain things too you they dont rush your treatment.therecare certain guidelines for aqua therapy but if you are a candidate it is worth coming here.

Rehab Plus helped me tremendously with my plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend them. The therapists there are friendly and know just what to do.

Professional staff that listens to your concerns, everyone in the office is very accommodating and attentive, sciatic pain is gone and my rotator cuff injury was treated and did not require surgery. Can't thank this team enough!
