Rehab Associates Newark-Heath

After having 2 pregnancies and the last one being very tough on my body, I had a lot of pelvic floor issues and pain. My OB/GYN referred me to get physical therapy and I am so glad I did! Rehab Associates is a great facility with the sweetest staff. Tammy Redman made me feel safe, comfortable, respected and HEARD. “That’s just part of having babies” is NOT in her vocabulary and now it’s not in mine. She truly believes in loving your body and you don’t have to “tough it out”, you strengthen. I am now pain free and working on strengthening my body. I am so thankful to have crossed paths with Tammy and all the care she has given me. I strongly recommend PT at Rehab Associates after having a baby or for many other reasons! Thank you RA.

I want to thank the dedicated staff at Rehab associates for helping me strengthen my arm. I suffered from a bad case of tennis elbow & struggled doing everyday activities. My mobility & strength got better each session. The pain went from a 10 to 2. They provided me with exercises & some tools to use at home as well. Highly recommend!!

The therapists at Rehab Associates are amazing and made my first time having PT great. They are friendly, caring and really get to know you. The facility is so nice and scheduling was very simple and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

The staff is very friendly , The reception staff try very hard to schedule Therapy sessions that fit the patients schedule well they work well around adjusting patients schedule when needed. I've worked with 4 therapist during my time at rehab associates all off them are very friendly and they stick to patients program just may do different things than whom you've seen before but you receive the same results in treatment. Highly recommend.

I recommend Rehab Associates to everyone wanting personal, professional and high quality physical therapy. The personnel are tip-top - starting with those behind the desk making appointments. They are pleasant and accommodating. Next was the first assessment which was thorough. The therapist communicated clearly and in detail that helped me articulate my symptoms. She answered all of my questions concisely in ways I understood. During that time I learned more about my experiences of pain and movements I was doing that were making it worse. I was given home exercises, and the therapist was encouraging and confident that with my compliance on homework and their hands on therapy my health would improve. Today is my second visit for this six week series of therapy. If it is anything like my past experiences at RA, I know I’m am in good hands and I will look forward to eventual relief and healing. I got in within days of my initial phone call and set up with a schedule. The therapists are very knowledgeable. Every patient is unique in their needs and having many therapists even gave more thought out ideas of what I needed. I was in a motorcycle accident and I would recommend this location to anyone. I came in on a rollator and out walking without a cane.

My daughter Alyssa experienced a dance injury at the age of 7. As part of her recovery her doctor recommended physical therapy. Rehab Associates is just minutes from our home and I personally know an employee. We experienced wonderful service during our eight weeks of treatment. The staff is friendly and kind and their goal was to get her back to dance as safely as possible. That goal was met! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy for not only themselves, but also for their child.

I would definitely recommend Rehab Associates from the level of care I received after shoulder surgery. Everyone working there was wonderful from the office to the therapists . I had the opportunity to work with several therapists and each one was great .I went from being unable to move my arm unassisted at my first appointment , to regaining full range of motion and my strength back at my last appointment.
