Redemption Physical Therapy and Sports Performance

After an injury to my wrist a couple months ago, I couldn't put any pressure or even use my right hand for anything heavy. It severely affected my workouts at the gym as well. I scheduled with Marissa after recommendations of some workout buddies and after a couple of tailored sessions to address my specific issue I can 100% say that im back fully using my wrist again with no limitations. Marissa is awesome. She’s really knowledgeable when it comes to preventing and treating injuries for athletes of varying abilities. My favorite part of Redemption PT is how different it is from typical PT Clinics. To me, it seems like other PT clinics push the same treatment methods on each patient regardless of athletic ability or experience. And it just doesn’t work! Marissa is capable of adapting and catering her treatment to each patient individually while always keeping their athletic goals in mind.

Excellent care! While traveling I was having terrible pain in my neck and back. We talked about the factors that likely contributed to that pain and she did an assessment and then treated both areas. She walked me through everything she was going to do so I knew what to expect. She also gave me a couple exercises I could do on my own which proved to be incredibly helpful. I went from pain that was completely ruining my vacation to almost no pain at all. I visit Tampa frequently and from now on redemption PT will be part of every visit.

Dr. Marissa was very passionate about her work, thorough, and effective. I had never tried scraping or cupping before and left feeling some relief after our first session.
