Redding Post Acute

They have taken excellent care of my father both times he's been there. Even with COVID being a factor both times they tried to make visiting as easy as possible. We were never discouraged and in fact always encouraged to visit. If dad ever needs to go back to a rehab/skilled nursing facility, Redding Post Acute will continue to be our first choice. Thanks to all of the staff from the front office to activities to the nursing staff. You are all amazing!

My aunt was admitted at Redding post acute last year. She has significant health issues due to diabetes, congestive heart failure and a broken leg. She was given excellent care and supervision. The admitting staff was very helpful and communicated well to keep me informed of her progress and set backs. I visited her often and always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The only reason I would not give five stars is there was no phone line to her room. The facility is older but has been given a face lift and is clean and fresh.

Angels work here! Every nurse, every care-giver, every administrator (social services director Kelly!) are there for your loved one and for you!

THE PLACE WAS CLEAN HOWEVER THE NURSES ARE VERY CLICKY. IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO YOUR LOVED ONES ON THE PHONE AND THEY DON'T HAVE A CELL PHONE BE PREPARED TO CALL 6-7 TIMES BECAUSE THERE ARE NO PHONES IN THE ROOMS AND RESIDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THE PHONES. WE WERE CALLING FROM OUT OF STATE AND NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES OR DELIVERS THEM TO THE RESIDENTS WITHOUT A LONG WAIT. IT ISOLATED MY MIL AND IS A WAY TO CONTROL THE RESIDENTS. WE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT AND NO ONE EVER RESPONDED OR CALLED US BACK. WE HAD TO CALL OVER AND OVER TO TRY TO GET A NURSE TO TAKE THE PHONE INTO THE ROOM TO GIVE TO OUR MOTHER.

My dear friend is at the rehab. It has been a horrific experience pain medicine was delivered hours later than expected. The place is understaffed and patients that are there to get better are underserved.
