My stepdad was placed here after contracting Covid and developing pnemonia in his assisted living facility. He was later transferred to Intermountain Health in St. George where he passed away from complications. When I returned to Red Cliffs from out of state to claim his belongings, I discovered his phone, hearing aids and other valuables were missing. I was also appalled to see the conditions of the facility. It was dark, dirty and depressing. His room after 3 days of vacancy had not been cleaned, the urine bottle was still full next to the bed, the room smelled awful, and the sheets were filthy. These were the conditions he had been living in while staying there. This facility is not somewhere I would place a loved one. Personally, I would shoot myself before being admitted here.

What a great place for rehab. I had brain surgery on February 5th, came to Red Cliffs on the 9th. I'm going home tomorrow the 21st. Before surgery my legs were like rubber.I couldn't walk or even stand . Between surgery and rehab and a lot of hard work it was like a miracle. Thank you all. The whole staff at Saint George Hospital and Red Cliffs .

I have had several friends and family members that have needed rehab after falls or accidents. Each that has come here has had a positive experience. Many staff members are kind and caring. They are hard working and are quick to respond.

This nursing home is an absolutely stunning facility. The architectural design and aesthetic appeal create a pleasing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff here are exceptional, demonstrating a level of dedication and compassion that is truly unparalleled. It is evident that they genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of their residents, as well as the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

I am not sure how they are still legally still open and I will be contacting authorities for the treatment my grandmother is currently receiving. While being visited by family there has been two witnessed falls within the last week. No documentation for staff coming in her room that she is a fall risk and there should be a mandatory two person transfer, lift, gate belt or other safety devices. I have worked in healthcare for over 15 years and am appalled by the lack of safety, fall prevention, and basic care that is being given to my loved one. Not to mention the medication errors that have been caught by FAMILY, not even the numerous nurses who pass the meds on a daily basis. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT allow your loved ones to be "cared" for by this unequipped, under staffed, incompetent facility.

My 80 year old aunt with dementia has been a resident at Red Cliffs for the past 5 years. I feel that she is getting very good care and she is happy at Red Cliffs. The facility is attractive and is neat and clean. My aunt is very fond of her former social worker Mindy who went above and beyond to make sure that she felt cared for. She also made sure that my aunt had phone access and helped her call her relatives and friends regularly. All the staff are well trained in working with residents with memory and behavioral issues and have a lot of patience. The PT and rehab staff have worked with my aunt to keep her safely mobile. The nutritionist and nursing staff have ensured that my aunt maintains a good weight despite being a picky eater. She has enjoyed the recreational activities, especially the musical programs. The indoor sun room with the water fountain is a peaceful visiting area that families can enjoy. The nursing staff keeps me informed of any major changes and the quarterly care meetings are very helpful. I live out of state but I sleep well at night knowing that my aunt is in good hands at Red Cliffs.

Mom was just discharged from red cliffs after 3 weeks. They got her back on her feet again with a great physical therapy staff. My mom was treated with care & respect and felt very safe with this staff, everyone was awesome. Great experience with this facility.

If and when I need to be put in a nursing home I want to go to this one. The staff is always working to improve the residents experience. Everyone is very kind and always happy to help. The environment is warm and inviting for families. The staff works very hard to fix all issues brought to their attention. Most of the time they have some sort of activity going on fit for the residents. The office personals are difficult to get a hold of because of lots of work and meeting, however, they do an amazing job. They know everyone personally and care a lot about everyone in the facility. Like I said in the beginning when I need a rehab or nursing home this will be my first choice.
