This an excellent recovery house that truly cares and loves everyone who walks in those doors. For my personal experience I have seen love, humbleness, true love to each other and a true brotherhood and sisterhood at both the women’s and men’s house that has prayed for and over all of them. This is a faith based program and each house provides meetings inside the house, they also have outside meetings that are required. They also go to CR (Celebrate Recovery) every Thursday and they are to complete step-work! Each person is held on a high standard of accountability, to learn responsibility and work ethic. I am very very proud of the men and the women who have walked through those doors ready to get the help they need so they can graduate and be placed back with the families. Most of the ones who come in the house have a wife/husband with families. I ask everyone to pray for each of them. Thank you and God Bless! “Conduct yourselves with all humility, gentleness, and patience. Accept each other with love, and make an effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit with the peace that ties you together.” Ephesians 4:2-3

I entered Real Life Recovery in September of 21. I was lost, addicted to numerous drugs, had no hope left. I was welcomed with open arms & treated like family from day 1. I was given so much love & support from both the Director & Asst. Director. I am now an employee at Real Life & I'm giving back the hope & love I was given then to other women struggling with addiction. I am almost 3 yrs clean & living my best life... This place has become part of who I am today.

Best rehab around! I was personally in Real Life Recovery. Anybody that crosses my path that is needing rehab, I definitely point them in that direction. I had a lot of court issues going on the whole year and Tammy and Lisa were at everyone with me, talking to my lawyer as well. They are very concerned with your better-being and getting you back on your feet. They do a transitional program too, that keeps you accountable by taking drug tests, but allowing you to move out of the house after 10 or 11 months, depending on the person and their situation. They also now have a system where the girls have to give the house half of their food stamps, so the house is ALWAYS stocked with food. Plus you can have your personal food as well. As for the house manager, there are certain things she has to do not only personally, but professionally, to do the job she does. They are called DRUG TESTS. No place is going to be perfect, but if you're looking for a place that truly cares about your well-being and wants to see you succeed, call Real Life. I'm not a third party person who has heard things, I have been right in the middle of it.

Real Life Recovery has changed my life. I relapsed in 2016 after 12 years sober and lost my children, my parents passed away, and I lost myself into addiction in a way that I never had before. I graduated from Real Life in 2019 but did not stay connected to any type of recovery and relapsed again. After spending a year in prison I was paroled back to Real Life Recovery. Real Life is being managed by Tiffany Johnson now and I feel like I have found my home. The program includes AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery and church so that everyone is able to get their spiritual needs met. They have helped me to get a good job, reopen lines of communication with my children, save for a car, and find myself and my purpose in life again. It's a very individualized program where some girls work on their GEDs after work while others are pursuing college courses. Parenting classes help with DHR cases and Real Life coordinates with attorneys to help with ongoing legal issues. I am proud to say that I have been clean since getting out of prison as a result of being at Real Life and proud to call this my recovery family.

I entered Real Life Recovery on 10/2/2017, I was in such denial and an emotional train wreck. Mrs Tammy helped me overcome ever obstacle put in my path and helped me in every way. Some people want to bad mouth rehabs, the ones bad mouthing are always the ones that gets dismissed bc they are caught doing drugs, leaving their jobs or leaving the property. Every rehab has rules set in place and if rules arent filled, there will be consequences, if rules continue to be ignored, that calls for dismissal from the rehab. I was one who bucked the system when I got to the rehab, but once I stopped with the dumb stuff and started doing what I was supposed to, everything was amazing. They do a parenting class which is required for all ladies in the house, you learn alot from the class, and if your dealing with cases involving children, graduating that class helps you 4real. They give very random drug tests, at least once a week and any time of day or night. I remember getting woke up one morning at like 5am for a random test lol but hey, you do what you gotta do to make sure the ladies in the house are doing right. I graduated 10/3/2018, I will recommend this rehab to anyone seeking recovery and wanting a new life. They help you with everything !!!! And they also have a mens house that's amazing like the womens house is. The people over the houses are the most compassionate people but they know when to put their foot down and will call someone on their bs in a heartbeat, which is something addicts honestly need. If yall are seeking recovery, Real Life is the place to go !!!

I am the Executive Director/ Owner of Real Life Recovery. The information that has been posted on this page is fully incorrect. False information has been posted on this about Real Life and it’s staff. I am very proud of both of my directors.. Tammy Mahaffey and Clint Doyle. They do an excellent job. We here at Real Life strive to help any individual that comes thru our door. Along the way we have had great success. Our success rating is 85% or greater. I am sorry that someone received false information from a family member and felt it nesseary to post such negative and untrue information about Real Life. I am proud of our staff, program, and every current client and past client that I have and have had. I am truly grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to have helped them. I have made a lot of friends along the way. There have been a few that Real Life wasn’t the place for them... but I have hoped and prayed that when they left that God would guide the in the right direction that they might find their recovery. Thru God ALL things are possible. Again I am sorry about the false information on this page. My attorney and I will be contacting the people who posted this to resolve this matter. And to all of my clients and friends that have had success with us.... please feel free to comment. Thanks and God Bless !

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! ALSO EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW IS TRUE. MY SON WASN'T THERE A WEEK AND OD. CLINT IS LIAR AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO DO. ALSO WHEN MY SON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL HIS BELONGINGS WENT MISSING.I WAS TOLD THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE TO LET ME GET MY SON'S THINGS BUT WAS JUST DOING ME A FAVOR. THEY ALSO HAVE TO MUCH FREEDOM. THEY CAN WALK ACROSS THE STREET TO THE CHEVRON WHENEVER THEY WANT. THE HOUSE IS A DUMP. I ALMOST BROKE MY LEG BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY CAN'T TURN ON A LIGHT IN THE HOUSE. CLINT ALSO TOLD ME HE WAS 3 YEARS SOBER BUT IT'S GOTTEN HARDER FOR HIM AS THE YEARS ARE PASSING.THEN HE GOT MAD WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD JUST CALL THE POLICE TO COME DOWN THERE AND DO A SEARCH TO FIND MY SON'S BELONGINGS AFTER I WENT THROUGH THE HOUSE LOOKING FOR THEM. SHOULD ADDICTS REALLY BE RUNNING THIS PROGRAM?? I THINK IT IS JUST A MONEY MAKING OPERATION. I THINK THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!
