Anyone looking for an occupational therapist, you will not regret working with Desiree! My son has seen her for a few months and the amount of progress he has made is incredible! I am very happy with her and how she works with my son. Very caring, understanding, detail oriented, and patient with him. Any questions or concerns I have she makes sure she works with my son and I. She always follows up and makes me feel comfortable as well in being able to ask questions about my son even after hours. The dedication she has put into my son and how he learns is honestly a blessing. She’s neuro divergent affirming and co treats with his speech therapist since he’s a gestalt language processor! My eldest son was struggling with some self-regulation and other general issues. Desiree was recommended to me so I gave her a call and right from the beginning, she was open and helpful. She came over to our home and did the assessment, reporting her findings and we entered into 20 weeks of OT with her. My son loved their time together and we saw a great change in him. Desiree is very knowledgeable, open, flexible and great to work with. One of the best parts of this therapy is that it is done in your own home, allowing kiddos to feel safe in their environment.
