So far so good. My son lights up when he sees us pulling up. Be ready to get out and all. The staff is very nice and understanding. Fist bump to reaching milestones. Happy son makes happy mom

The staff are all so gentle and kind and well educated. We have worked with two therapists and was happy with the continuity of care. They are poised to help with older kids (teens) which is heartbreakingly hard to find. They are creating a mock apartment to help teach life skills to older kids and I'm so excited. The older kiddos still need help too! The admin staff are so friendly and helpful. The waiting list can be cumbersome but its definitely worth it. My son has much improved in less than a year!

Our son has been going to Reaching Milestones for 6 months. He absolutely loves it there. Which is great because he was first at Easter seals of West Georgia and we had to drag him into that facility. That was the worst facility we’ve ever endured but Reaching milestones has been nothing but committed to helping our son achieve his goals. The staff there is very friendly and they truly care about their patients. Thank you Reaching milestones for being the best!

Absolutely unprofessional. If I was you I would most definitely do research before sending your child here! There are several more places in Columbus now who really do care and a major difference in how they handle therapy services. I regret not doing my research and my child had to go to this place. I encourage you to really sit in the waiting area if your child attends there, ask to sit in a room to watch your child unexpected. Then again I am sure they would completely change their ways. Please Please do your research. Several caring businesses have moved to this area and are making a HUGE difference with the children and families! Reaching Milestones is more about money than serving your child. At the beginning your child will be the most amazing new member and next thing you know you plus your child are treated poorly. My child is very verbal and told me what 1 of her 4 therapist did. In less than a year she had 4 therapist. I have a log book showing where if my child cried out they would place her in a room. No activities, no one on one. It got to the point where my child would go to sleep to escape. I would not recommend my pet dog to attend this place. Makes you wonder why you are able to get in so fast. My child started having nightmares. Unfortunately I can't go back and change this HUGE mistake that I made. However I pulled my child out as both her Doctor's agreed after my daughter told first what was happening. I already had her set up with a company that would drive down to Columbus and do in home. The need for them in our community was so huge!! My daughter attends daily with them and what a remarkable difference. She is safe and so extremely LOVED! I fully trust them. Mel also stated some very true facts..I still have the recording of them over a year ago calling us after hours stating we had to be there before her session at 8am or they could no longer serve her. As far as the fee I forgot to initial it so they could never get me for that. Due to working nights there was no way to make a meeting before her session. They are beyond unprofessional. We caught them overcharging us with a few hundred dollars and had to keep requesting our money back on several occasions. My poor child endured so much. I can't go back in time, but I can advise you for child's sake please look at other locations in Columbus and one even tales Medicaid.

This is long and I apologize. Started out with a very good experience. We were able to get set up and start new ABA therapy for our son rather quickly after we moved to the area. He was placed with a good therapist and was making progress. We then had an issue where progress was not being made so we made the decision to pull back a little and they changed the therapist he was working with. That was a good change and we were still happy. We came to a point where we weren't sure if we could commit to so much time very day for therapy and we weren't seeing any big changes for him. We decided to put him into school and didn't want to pull him out for 4 hour appointments twice and week and have him miss so much or have such long days. We spoke to Reaching Milestones multiple times about this issue and weren't ever at a resolution. We requested to take a break for a few weeks so we could see how school went. At that point everything changed. They completely cut us off and decided to charge us a fee for not giving proper notice. I understand the issue with notice, however, due to the fact that there are SO many people there things were lost with poor communication. We had spoken to different people multiple times about the change coming and were attempting to come to a resolution but because NO ONE was speaking to each other it was lost. In the long run we had to part ways in a bad way and we are very disappointed in how things were handled. We were told one day how important our family was to them and how they wanted the best for our son. The next day we can't help you and here is the cancellation fee. Seemed they were more concerned with billable time and fitting into their appointment times than what was best for our child.

I'm really confused by the negative reviews. We have been going to reaching milestones for over a year and never had an issue. My daughter absolutely loves going to therapy daily. I wouldn't fault a business for charging fees for attendance or canceling services. They work one on one with your child. If you are not there they essentially work for no pay. We've worked with multiple therapists, and the ones we haven't worked with, my child is excited to interact with during drop off and pick up. The review about mistreatment is utterly mindblowing to me. I couldn't see anything like that happening in such a highly monitored environment. Not to mention none of the employees would accept that treatment of a child. They are required reporters after all. Are we reviewing the same place? I've literally watched my daughter bite a therapist and that therapist reaction was to offer her chewie in a calm nonchalant manner. Have you ever been bitten? It hurts! The fact that they walk into work everyday to the possibility of getting hit, bitten, pinched, peed on, and yelled at by our kids isn't enough? They are there to challenge our children, not be their friends. Growth comes from adversity. I've learned so much from the staff because I take their professional advice to heart. They have helped me problem solve solutions to behavioral issues at home, gone to iep meetings with me to advocate for my child, and always keep solutions family focused which is a huge deal for us. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Reaching Milestones for continuing to show me my daughters potential, and offering us hope for her future. I'm forever grateful.

After the old director left this place turned into an nightmare. They messed up thier paperwork with Tricare dismissing like all the military families with almost no notice, lost like 89 percent of thier staff. This was a great place but then it wasn't. The new Bcba was not my cup a tea when it came writing interventions. Trying to put my 3 yr old through grueling restrictions bc he wasn't "compliant" enough. I took him out way before the Tricare mess started. Turns out he was just being a 3 yr old. Shocking. No thanks.
