Rancho Del Mar Physical Therapy

My husband, myself and my brother are currently receiving awesome, terrific Physical Therapy at Rancho Del Mar P T . The therapists address carefully to our individual needs and approach and plan personalized care. The suite and their equipment are outstanding. Brett Slutsky,DPT has performed excellent care for my specific needs, Teresa,receptionist and Lisa are excellent in their roles for certain. Aabha Shahs has done wonders for my husband,Wayne and brother, Bob.We have appointments tomorrow and can not wait for another pleasant experience. Thank you, Barbara

I had a great experience with both Abby and Joseph the physical therapists. Being that I am 74 years old, they were ever so patient with me. I had previously torn both my meniscus and was in so much pain that it limited me from being active on a daily basis. I have tried other Physical Therapy offices before and never received the kind of one on one treatment like I did here. The entire staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure I was meeting all my goals. Not only did they show me proper strenghtening exercises but also gave me copies of each exercise to ensure I was maintaining my routine at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rancho Del Mar...and would definitly recomend this clinic to all my friends and family. Great Job!

Since last November I have had three falls. The first one I fractured my ankle which required surgery to install a plate and several screws. The second fall I injured my knee, the third fall I hurt my ribs. I had back pain. The physical therapist Kayla and her assistants Lisa and Victoria provided physical therapy over that time guiding me to where I am 100% recovered. They are very professional. Kayla is tip-top and very knowledgeable about rehabbing all my injuries and still works with me to this day; using exercises to increase flexibility, balance, strength and posture. The facility is also tip-top. It is super clean and airy. There is a variety of modern exercise equipment and tools. The location is excellent, across the street form Mary's Tac Shop on Via De La Valle. There is ample parking. Teresa who works the front desk keeps everything moving smoothly.

The therapists are all kind, extremely professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the same experience with the front desk, which ultimately led to me leaving the practice. I heard back from the receptionist 3 separate times, each to reschedule my initial appointment shortly before it was scheduled to take place. It wasn’t a good first impression, but I decided to give it a try anyways. When I finally got in, I had a great experience with the physical therapist, Tracy, and was eager to return. We decided to set up regular appointments, and I let the receptionist know I had a strict work schedule, and what times to avoid. Shortly after getting home, I got an email that she had scheduled me during the hours I requested to avoid. I felt like from the beginning, she wasn’t listening to me at all. Frustrated, I responded that like I just said, I am not going to be able to do these times, please cancel, and I will have to go somewhere else. Instead of cancelling the appointment, to my surprise, I got billed for a NO SHOW!! When I contacted them to dispute the charge, they asked me to send them the entire email exchange, which I did. But still, they acted confused, played dumb, and refused to drop the charge for the no show. I went ahead and paid the fee, but wanted to warn anyone who is interested in going here. The therapists were amazing, but the staff is incompetent and creating far for organizational problems for me than were worth the trouble.

I have been going to Rancho Del Mar Physical Therapy for many years and always have had great results. All of the therapists are extremely knowledgeable and caring. The entire staff makes me feel welcome. I would highly recommend their services

Do yourself a favor and see Abby or Joseph for your PT needs. Bar none folks, and I’ve been to many! Both excellent and compliment each other with different approaches. My very painful frozen shoulder is healing in 1/2 the time my insurance company expected. That says it all!

I was recommended to this place from another trusted therapist. I have visited several other PT clinics and this one is unique in the time and care spent with each patient. Each session is 45 minutes with 30 full minutes spent with the undivided attention of a PT, then 15 minutes with an aide. In other clinics, I've spent 30 minutes with a PT who is often distracted working with other patients concurrently. Here, the PT work on one patient at a time and their attention is all yours, allowing for a more personal and nuanced level of care. I have worked with a PT, Kayla, for 4 months now. I return because of the degree of listening, care, and attentiveness she provides me. Kayla is competent, humble, personable and skilled at explaining things in a way that's digestible. I always leave my appts feeling better than when I first walked in. I have observed the other PTs in the clinic treating patients with a level of care, professionalism and attentiveness as well. I find everyone in the clinic from the PTs, to the aides, to the receptionist to be good, friendly, enjoyable people. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a level of quality care and attention that is deeper and more specific in nature.

I have been taking physical therapy at RDMPT for more than five years for a variety of post surgical procedures and additionally for development of improved strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility. The physical therapists at RDMPT are very supportive, attentive to your needs and concerns, and constantly reinforce you and keep you on track for meeting your physical therapy objectives. The equipment at RDMPT is also excellent and is employed in most of your therapy as appropriate. I leave sessions knowing that I am moving toward attainment of my physical therapy objectives. The support staff is wonderful, caring, and keeps the facility in perfect condition and helps clients meet their scheduling needs and accommodations. I am motivated to continue my physical therapy at RDMPT as long as needed.
