A little over 4 years ago I was on a 10 ft ladder that tipped over with me and left me with a fractured sacrum, partially collapsed lung and other lower spinal damage. Over the years the pain kept getting worse and affected every day living and made it difficult to sleep. My doctor referred me to the Ramos Center for pain management. Right away Dr. Ramos prescribed a medication for nerve damage and set me up for shots in my spine. After a week on the medication I saw a significant improvement and was sleeping better and after the two rounds of spinal shots, I'm practically pain free. It's been three months since the shots and I'm still doing pretty well. I'm so thankful to my primary Doctor for sending me to the Ramos Center. Thank you Dr. Ramos for helping me manage my pain.

By far the most unorganized and unprofessional clinic I've dealt with. Went in for treatment for severe pain. Spent nearly an hour with a doctor during initial consultation. Doc referred me for an MRI...said the imaging center would call me to schedule. A week later...no call. So I call them and request scheduling. Was told they needed to run through insurance. A week later...nothing. I call them...they say they're still working on it. Severe pain still exists. I schedule another MRI at a different imaging center and get scheduled and completed within a couple days. Finally scheduled for the injections at Ramos Center and I let them know where I had the MRI done so they can get the scans. I show up for the injections only to be told they don't have any images. I reiterate where to find them. I go back to the room for the injections. There are a couple of very nice younger staff in the room to assist with the procedure. An older lady comes in with her mouth stuffed with food asking me questions. . I have no idea what she's saying and she starts getting frustrated and short with me. Younger staff reminds her that her mouth is full and she snaps at them. I assume she's the anesthesiologist based on her questions. She then asks me if I took my prescription. Well...no...I was never given a prescription. Again...she gets frustrated and short with me blaming me for not taking a prescription that I was never given. Now doc walks in...mind you this is a totally different doc than the one I did the consultation with. He immediately says we're going to do a totally different procedure...and not in my lower back...but in my hip. Really? I don't have hip issues...never have. Yes...the pain from my back shoots down through the hip from time to time...but the source is my lower back. So while he's waiting on confirmation from the insurance I decided to just leave. No way I'm letting that grumpy woman stick me with anything and no way I'm going to have some doc I've never spoken to before waltz in and tell me we're going to do a different procedure on a different body part. For the next week or so I got calls from the clinic nearly every day. Each call was totally different and a couple of them actually indicated that I still needed to go get an MRI...which they have on file. What a mess!!!

On 10/24/24 I went to the Ramos Center for back injections for sciatica. From start to finish, literally beginning to end, the treatment I received was stellar! The front desk staff were polite and professional, when I had questions about whether or not my BCBS would cover the sedation they made phone calls to get my questions answered which gave me peace of mind, I was so grateful. I was called back, taken to a room where they place the IV port in your arm/hand, the young lady who placed my was very nice and I never felt the prick of the needle…she was goooood!! After that, it was procedure time. I walk in, the staff hook me up with an oxygen hose, direct me to lay down on the table, they prepare the area for the injections…at that time Dr Jahaj came in, we spoke for a minute and one of the nurses said something about the medicine was starting…and the next thing I knew I woke up in recovery like nothing ever happened and no pain, it’s 4 days later and I’m still without pain! This is HUGE for me because injections in the past have not worked. I’m so hopeful that this will continue to work for me. Finally, lil Ms Brianna in recovery was an angel…in fact all the ladies I had met and dealt with and Dr Jahaj were just fantastic!! It was definitely my pleasure to have chosen the Ramos Center for my Pain Management needs.

A big shout-out to Susan W. at The Ramos Center who turned a disaster with CVS Pharmacy into a patient friendly solution with Costco pharmacy. She analyzed the medicine shortage problem; found alternatives and helped my e-script get to a provider who filled the prescription on time and for half the price I previously paid. Thank you Susan W. for your patient centric work ethic & problem solving prowess! Russell Jay, patient of Dr Samuel Amen & Dr Robert Benson.

I had my first procedural appointment yesterday, at the Bradenton location for a cervical steroid injection with Dr. J, Kayla, & Kyle. They made me feel so much more comfortable, since I'm nervous with anything unknown!! I highly recommend this office. Professional, kind, and fun at the same time!

Avoid these people like the plague! I just mailed written notice of termination, because neither of my doctors there would return my call to clarify questions about my treatment. FLATLY UNACCEPTABLE! I've indicated one star to activate the Post button, but make no mistake: The actual rating from me is ZERO STARS!

Best services. The entire staff is kind and courteous, especially my crew, Betrice, Katelyn, and Latoya. We also have a new member who took me in today, whose name I didn’t get yet, but next time I will. Everyone is very kind and professional. Thanks to you all. Now Dr. Amen, my doctor, is the best doctor I’ve ever had, and hope I continue to see him for as long as possible. He just gets it. Very understanding and super friendly. If Dr. Amen goes, I go. Thanks again to Dr. Amen and his staff. YOU ARE ALL THE BEST IN WHAT YOU ALL DO. 👍👍 If anyone I left out, you fit in the category.

I've been seeing Ramos pain center for nearly two years now. I've had dependable appointments until last month. I was told they were going to lower my medication to daily and gave me no explanation. I the next time I tried to contact them they had blocked my number refused to place my next pain pill order with my mail order company. I still don't know what's happening. My insurance was changed and I'm wondering if that is why they've cut me off? If it was something else they never discussed it with me. I've never had a professional medical office treat me this way. I'm really upset.
