My wife applied to be a Covid 19 Screener at this location and after numerous calls asking to come in for paperwork(after 2 weeks of waiting to hear back) she spent 4 hours filling out paperwork to be told the position she came in to start wasnt the one they wanted her to do. She talked to HR Sandra in which she got attitude and blamed for "messing her up" after Sandra told her she wanted her to work the floor for 16 hours a day on weekends. She left after orientation and when i called today to inform them she wont be working there i was greeted with attitude and Sandra hung up the phone without confirming it was actually my wife she will be "firing". Absolutely no professionalism from her and I highly recommend not applying here. And if I could give zero stars I would!

I was there from the 27th of Dec. 2020 till 2nd of Jan. 2021. Every time I pushed the nurse help button, no one never came. Had a hard time just getting my meds for my lung breathing treatment. A doctor came in and I guess she talked to the nurses and finally I started getting my meds for my breathing treatment. There was only 8 people there, and the put a man in my room and the nurses in the middle of the night would come in, turning the overhead light and wake me up to change his dyper. Why couldn't they put him in a room by himself, instead of bothering me every single night, to check on him. Food wasn't bad, and the finally brought me coffee after the 3rd day. Never want to go there again.

I used to work here and to be honest, it was understaffed most of the time. So, as hard as we worked a lot of the time things didn't get done in a timely manner. However, having said that: there are a ton of real nice CNA's that work there and most of them do their best all the time. Also: any cases of neglect were seen to in a timely manner. I even got written up because I had to leave sick and didn't change everyone on my hall before I left. (I'd been vomiting alot, and literally could not work at all anymore) Their memory lane unit is very nice.

My dad is currently in the rehab center. He has been there for 7 weeks. Wonderful staff and great food. Couldn't have been better.

My Mother lives here, the people here take very good care of her. She had a stroke. The home is very clean and the staff are very nice and professional. If I could change anything regarding Quapaw it would be a better menu, the food served. That’s it. I’m grateful for the staff whom I feel really care for my lovely Mother.

Very clean. Stable, long established home. The interdisciplinary administrative team, as well as, many of the direct care nurses have been working together here for 10 years or more! Now that is an accomplishment of longevity in teamwork!

Do NOT send your loved one here. They do NOT refresh their water here. The meals are never served in a timely manner. On Monday, they were supposed to eat at noon. They didn't get their trays in the dining room until 1:10 PM. They do NOT check on your loved one. They will sit for hours and no one notices. By late afternoon, they will all smell, have urine under their chairs. It's a sad sad situation. They will TELL you how much they care and how much they will do to help you out. They do not. We were there for four days. No one came in to check on dad. He sat all day in his depends. We would call them to come to put him to bed. They would come in and turn off the light and tell you they're busy and will be "right back". They don't come back. 20 minutes later we put the light back on and they come back and STILL cannot put him to bed. He's 92 years old. It's 8:30 at night and no one is doing their job. We walked in on THREE girls in his room, one sitting on his bed, the other two standing there, with NO patients in the room. The girl on the bed shot up and out of the room. Hmmmm, guess they shouldn't be having a pow wow in a client room that's EMPTY of patients. There's NO supervision of the aides and no one seems to have any type of routine that keeps their water fresh. Bottoms dry. Etc. I was told by the Social Worker that my Dad WILL fall because he doesn't listen and stay in his seat. I told her, my Dad WILL fall because NO ONE COMES WHEN YOU PRESS THE CALL LIGHT. Of course he tries to get up himself. There are chair and bed alarms going off all day. No one is checking to see if they're okay. They're SO used to the alarms, it's not an alarm anymore. This is unacceptable. UPDATE: Hazel just called me to say that I'm mistaken and that's NOT what she said. Interestingly, she's also telling me that my father PREFERRED to remain in the same clothes for two days at a time. He's in a diaper and was smelling of old urine. Really? You think that's what he would prefer? He's confused and is counting on YOUR facility to take care of him. You say he's an "impulsive" man who doesn't listen and tries to get up on his own. Again, we were trusting YOUR FACILITY to care for Dad. Of course he's going to try to go on his own. He had been doing that for 90 years! He doesn't understand that he's confused and doesn't know that anymore. He doesn't understand that he can hurt himself if he tries to get up on his own. That's YOUR job to help him. How dare you defend your stand rather than fixing the issues. Sure you should back your people, but your first job should be to protect your residents. That's not what I'm seeing.

Honestly, you don't want to know what goes on at Quapaw N&R. I used to work there and I would suffer before I even thought about using their "services"
