I am usually wary of physical therapy when it is ordered, and have, in other practices in the past, found it to be a waste of my time. I have to say, this time was different. Resulting from a running injury, I had been suffering for months from damaged tendons in my lower legs and a stress fracture in my right ankle. I got a recommendation from a good sports podiatrist who treated my injuries, and then sent me for rehab at PT Solutions of Dunedin. The first time I walked through their doors, though, it was clear the patients here were not just going through the motions. It was filled with people who were clearly getting solid advice, working hard and seeing results. There were patients of all ages, genders, sizes and shapes with all manner of soft tissue and orthopoedic issues, including athletes coming back from injury. I was assigned to Eva who cheerfully evaluated my abilities and limitations, then pulled out the most extensive toolbox of exercises and advanced therapy techniques I had ever seen to design a custom program that would fix me. In the ensuing three months, she would go above and beyond, not just treating the injury itself but revealing other weaknesses and old injuries that had, unknowingly, been contributing to my diagnosed pain. I have never been so impressed, not just because she was so thorough, but because she took the time, and so much delight in making my recovery fun. She worked with me to incorporate exercises I already knew, to encourage me to push my treatment envelope when appropriate, but she’d never let me go off the rails either. She always encouraged feedback, and welcomed whatever I had to say, especially if it was something we could incorporate together Into my program. I saw this happening all over the room — therapists working with their patients to make them better — so much more than just checking off prescribed boxes during a one-hour appointment. PT Solutions of Dunedin takes an organic approach to each individual’s physical therapy journey. It really worked for me, and, coming from a skeptic, I can’t offer a higher recommendation.

My Therapist Dr. Hayley was the BEST! I had a total shoulder replacement on April 29, 2024 from a fracture falling off my bike…I attended therapy at first 3x week, then 2x week for 4 1/2 months…I would cry from the pain in the beginning and left yesterday laughing, only to cry again having to say good bye to Hayley…Thank you again Hayley! Miss you already, and all of the nice patients I met during my treatment program.

I highly recommend this for your PT needs. If you are willing to do the work and let the therapist help you, you will be the winner. Emmy was my therapist. I had shoulder surgery 3 months ago. I saw Dr Mates, my surgeon and he said that I am ready to stop pt. However, he also said that I should not be this far along, that I should've been 6 to 9 months to be this far. But, due to Emmy, I am done. I need to do a few exercises at home to complete my range of motion but... thank you Emmy. Hayley was terrific in her therapy with me. A total ankle replacement is very difficult especially at my age. but she truly kept me going. Everyone at the Main St. Dunedin were great!!! 10 stars is still not enough.

Eva and Emmy were absolutely fantastic Physical Therapists. Jasmine, who was an intern, was excellent at helping me get my knees back into shape. After PT there, I can climb stairs without intense pain. The entire staff is very professional, the facility is clean, but the warmup machines are broken down and gross. The bike makes noises and the walking machine has melted sticky spots on it which stuck to my phone. The corporate office needs to fix this problem. I highly recommend using PT Solutions in Dunedin, but maybe do your warmup at home because the corporate office doesn’t want to fix the machines!

Absolutely top notch facility. Have been going for a while for a couple health related issues and have been nothing but impressed with the entire staff. I had Hayley as my primary physical therapist, but also had interactions with Eva, Emmy, and DJ; all are top notch and knowledgeable in their profession. From the time you walk in and greeted by Alexis and Taylor, to your one-on-one experience with your PT professional, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the entire team for all your help!!

My therapist Eva is personable, knowledgeable, has a positive upbeat attitude plus good sense of humor.
