PT of The City Physical Therapy

This place is pretty good. I left my previous clinic bc of overcrowding and disorganization. This place is the opposite! It’s very well managed and clean. My PT needs are communicated clearly, and my physical expectations have been meant in terms of my injury. Come here for your PT needs!

I received great care. I came in two weeks after getting surgery to repair my ankle with a couple of screws. Within a few weeks, I was walking without the aid of crutches or even a boot. I worked with Rachita and she is excellent. She stepped up my exercises at just the right pace, and always made me feel supported.

I’ve had a great experience with Dr. Elman and team at the Riverdale practice. Everyone is friendly, patient and thorough. The quality of service and expertise is top notch! Also, it’s nice to experience a place with such a personal touch in the neighborhood where clinicians know their clients by name. Great for the community!

Their professionalism, patience, and encouragement made the rehabilitation process smooth and motivating. Thanks to their expertise, I've seen significant improvement in my mobility and reduced pain. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing physical therapy for foot issues. Everybody is very friendly.

I've seen several doctors and specialists for my knee injury, and Dr. Elman stands out as one of the most attentive and caring. He takes his time to understand my symptoms and any pain or discomfort I'm feeling. He modifies my exercise routines based on my progress and gives me self-care tips. He's provided me with a better understanding of when I should push myself during training vs. when I should slow down and give my body a break to heal. Highly recommend!

Really enjoy this facility. The staff is great and really nice to work with. Really enjoy working with Dr. Elman as he takes his time asking a ton of questions to figure out how to best treat you. I’m really disappointed that he is no longer planning to be at this location…the new PT has big shoes to fill.

I am more than happy to give a great review to the staff of PT ( Riverdale) . I never like going to doctors but at PT they make you feel comfortable from the very beginning, Ebony is friendly and she is very professional. The other therapist and assistant always strive to help you reach a little farther than you did the last time , with a smile as they encourage you to go a little more. I’m 60 so for me I could use all the help I can get to go a little longer and another set. I just thank them because I feel much better than when I started. Thank you PT staff.

I really enjoy my treatment with Dr.Elman at PT Riverdale. The staff is great and the techniques used are healing me already, in just a first couple of sessions. I was remembering how perfect my second session was and how happy I am doing this treatment at PT Riverdale as I rode the train back home from Coney Island. The universe was reaffirming that feeling because what a coincidence at the same exact time i thought of PT I see their office in Sheepsbay. It made me even believe in magic in how enchanting that moment felt. I really believe in finishing my treatment with Dr.Elman in PT Riverdale and will continue to be his client because the experience is just tooo perfect already! I am so happy!Thank you So much!
