HIGHLY recommend this PT!!! Allison (the main physical therapist) is great, and so are the rest of the staff here. Really work with you to create a plan and cater to what helps/hurts, each session. Have been going here for about 6 months now for my lower back pain (that I've had for about 2 years), and it's been such tremendous help for my physical ability as well as my confidence back into health. Before going - I never thought I'd be able to get back into all the exercise classes I love, and Allison/his assistant really helped me progress slowly. I still have a long way to rehab, but with each session - I'm able to work a little bit more than the last. I'm only able to go 1-2x a month given insurance, and even then it's been such great help. For those that do/are going more often, I think it'd be even more beneficial. If you're looking for a great studio, this is it. (Just as a patient profile: in my 30s, no major car accident - so I had vague but very painful lower back/right knee issues they were able to help strengthen) Also, this place is separate from the Costa Mesa location, so know that before calling/setting up an appt!

I had gone to Progressive PT for over a year and have positive experience there. Progressive PT is not contracted with my insurance, but I am willing to pay out of my pocket because I see the results, and it's worthed. Unlike my previous HMO PT appointments, which lasted 15-30 minutes and were mainly with PT aides, at this place, each session lasts 1 hour. I have manual therapy worked on me by the doctors of PT and am given tailored, progressive exercises. Kim and Alison are knowledgeable and compassionate. Alison frequently watches his patients to make sure the form is correct. The whole staff make you feel welcome and warm like a family yet remain professional the whole time. I really enjoy the laughter and positive atmosphere each time I come. Highly recommend Progressive PT.

I have been going to Progressive Therapy for approximately 9 months after ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair due to a sports injury. Everyone here — from the owner, Kim; the PT assistants, Vivian and Divina; to the front desk ladies, Meryl and Norma — has a positive attitude and is wonderful to work with. While the atmosphere is easygoing and casual, they are still professional and take your recovery very seriously. My main PT, Alison, has been tailoring a recovery routine specific to my goals of regaining total strength and mobility and ultimately returning to sports. He has been instrumental in my recovery over these past 9 months and even though I just recently had my last session (due to insurance limitations), I have no doubt that I will soon return to the courts with all the exercises and knowledge gained in how to proceed forward on my own. While the facility itself may not be quite as large as say Kaiser, what you get instead is a great staff that provides exceptional patient-focused care who genuinely listen to your concerns and provide tailored rehabilitation accordingly. I fully recommend anyone in need of physical therapy to set up an appointment with Progressive Therapy in Garden Grove.

I received extensive physical therapy treatments for my total shoulder replacement at Progressive Physical Therapy and Rehab (Garden Grove). Adam Nadler was my therapist and he was excellent - very knowledgeable, sensitive to pain, but pushing as necessary and encouraging. He was assisted by Melissa, who was also excellent - alert and caring as well as very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Progressive, Adam and Melissa for your physical therapy requirements.

Everyone here is so nice & caring! Meryl & Norma are terrific and Devon’s is so sweet. Kim Marshall is the best Lymphatic Therapist & I wish I’d found her long ago. Happy to be here for treatment!

my Dr referred me to Progressive Physical Therapy due to a related stiffness after cancer surgery. Kim Marshall was great. She understands the cancer patient and worked with me with incredible results. The staff was very easy to work with and very friendly. Would highly recommend..

I am a stage IV throat cancer survivor and I have nothing but praise for Kim Marshall and the Progressive PT staff (Keith, Merryl, Amos, and Mellisa). Kim is very attuned to the numerous potential side effects of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. She has helped me stay ahead of many of the head and neck cancer side effects. This has been extremely helpful and much needed as the doctors are just happy they saved your life and don’t always have the time to focus on the various side effects. Kim is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and constantly re-evaluating your condition to adjust and adapt as necessary. The techs are well trained, very helpful, personable, and supportive. Finally, the front office is well managed and also very helpful. I truly appreciate the care I have received from Progressive. I think you will be hard pressed to find any better.”

I've had a positive experience at Progressive PT since July 2019. After a shoulder injury, I was looking at potential surgery. I thought I would give PT a try first. The staff at Progressive PT are friendly and easy to work with: Adam, Melissa, John. The most difficult challenge was just holding myself accountable and consistently doing the home work (at home exercises) that Progressive PT staff recommended. I'm nearly 100% now, no surgery needed, and looking forward to getting back into more physical activities in 2020. Thanks, Progressive PT!
