Professional Physical Therapy

I've had to do PT a number of times for my ankle and I can say that Michela is, by far, the best therapist I've worked with. She not only treated the acute issue but also took the time to figure out what may be causing the chronic pain to prevent it long term. After only a few sessions, a few tips and some handy home items, it feels the best it has in years! The office is also a pleasant place to visit, everyone is friendly, welcoming and scheduling is a breeze!

I have gone to Professional Physical Therapy in Billerica to recover after knee surgery and for a frozen shoulder. The staff lives up to the name on the door – very professional. Appointments are on time; the equipment is always working and the staff is very caring. Most of us end up needing PT after an injury or surgery. Karen and her staff members have a positive, encouraging tone that lets you know they are invested in your recovery. I have recommended them to friends and family in the past and would go back if I ever needed PT again.

I can’t recommend professional physical therapy in Billerica enough. The staff are knowledgeable and supportive. Michela is an excellent physical therapist. She always has an answer for my questions. She always has a new tool, stretch, or exercise to help me reach my goals. I’m so grateful I started my physical therapy with them!

My husband had tendon quadricep ruptures of both legs. Our first meeting at Professional Physical Therapy in Billerica was outstanding. Karen was well educated in this injury and helped my husband to recovery. Quite happy with facility and the staff that works here. Very comfortable environment. Once again we needed Professional Physical Therapy’s assistance. This time for me. I was in a bad car accident and broke my neck. My surgeon suggested going back to physical therapy after a long recovery. Well I am currently being seen by Karen and she has been absolutely outstanding and knowledgeable of my injury. Michela has been great. She has really helped me improve my balance and general strength. I highly recommend her.

Had 6 discs in my neck fused in July 2023. Pain was bad for 1 year. After going to Karen Murphy 2 weekly for 3 weeks my pain is down from 100% of the time to abou 15% of the time. I feel like I have my life back. The exercises she has given me are easy and have changed my life. She taught me how stop my head from falling forward causing so much pain. Now I just do what she told me and I can pick my head right back up. Best therapy I’ve ever experienced.

Professional Physical Therapy is excellent. Karen has helped me navigate and build my muscles back up from a disc herniation/bulge in my lower spine which has effected my knee. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She also helped my son recover from a football injury.

This is my favorite place for all things injury related. Karen is an expert at diagnosing joint issues and all of the staff are so nice! 10/10 would recommend
