ProActive Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine: Mission Valley

I came to this clinic after injuring my IT band while training for a marathon, and after about two months so far, I’m feeling incredible! I’m still going weekly since my marathon is in less than 2 months. Rob has been my main physical therapist, and he’s been fantastic, creating a tailored plan that got me back to running pain-free. I also work with Arica on exercises, and she’s awesome—super encouraging and knowledgeable. Ann Marie and Khoa have also been part of my journey, and they’re amazing as well! The whole team makes every session enjoyable, and the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the San Diego area, especially if you’re near Mission Valley!

I can’t say enough good thing about ProActive Mission Valley. I’m being seen for a serious ankle injury. I’ve been receiving care for almost a year. They’ve helped through two surgeries. They do both hands on manipulation with every visit and a progressive series of exercises with specialized equipment overseen by either the PT or their aid. I also have exercises to do at home which are simpler, but effective. I’ve worked with almost every PT in their office and they all provide excellent one-on-one service. They answer all my questions and adapt my treatment as I progress, as well as helping me overcome any set backs. I couldn’t have recovered from my injury or my surgeries without them. If you want a friendly and attentive PT office with skilled PTs and a thorough treatment plan, I’d highly recommend ProActive-Mission Valley.

Khoa and Arica have been the absolute best! Both are a joy to see each day and genuinely care about making sure your treatment is effective and manageable. They’ve helped immensely with returning me to full health after a bad accident.

The physical therapists here are great! I felt well taken care of, and their therapy has definitely improved the condition of my neck pain.

This has been my Physical Therapy choice for 3 different issues over the past few years and it has been excellent. Everyone on staff is very attentive, the Therapists are knowledgeable and focused on exactly what my concerns are, and the Excercise Specialists are great at teaching the excerices and keeping me in proper form for the stretching and strengthening workouts. They are all skilled and friendly making the workouts fun and I have really benefited from coming here. It's also in a great location in MV that's easy to find with free parking and I've quickly booked all my appointments.

The PT and OT team Rob,Khoa ,Troy Seth and Africa…are the best! Very educated knowledgeable attentive and also funny.. Aimee is hands down awesome

This was a very great experience here at proactive physical therapy. The therapists and exercise specialists are accommodating and passionate about what they do. I recommend this Clinic to anyone I know who got injured. The front desk was very kind. She made sure you were getting the proper care and the best care. Proactive physical therapy was also beneficial and would teach me everything I wanted to know about the physical therapy field. Also, they would answer all of my questions and concerns I brought to them no problem. This place is the best at what they do, 10/10. I recommend.

Welcoming and caring team with results! I highly recommend this location. Would like to see a true stretch machine, Pilates reformer, and new squid ice therapy (they are all broken right now). Thank you
